Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like popcorn, can't buy just one We Have 2 Connects and a Play 5. The Play 5 sounds better than any single point speaker should. The Connects play through 2 multi zone receivers. In wall and in ceiling speakers sound great as do full range biamped tower speakers run with Yamaha M80/M60 power. I have run the Connect to an outboard Tube Dac (Cal Audio Alpha) with optical and coax. The Connect sounds great in any setup I use it in. The occasional hookup glitch is usually from mismatched updates (phone updated but not the server). Too rare to be a problem. I'd like to see 96/24 support. Even with an outboard Dac that can decode a higher bitrate the Sonos can't pass it. The music library is pretty small too. I have made a smaller folder of "essentials" to share out to the Sonos but it would be nice to share out my entire collection. The software updates come pretty regular and have been from ehh to big upgrades. I really like album art on the lock screen of the phone. The handle on the Play5 is great too, that goes outside sometimes. 2 more Connects for garage and basement theater are coming soon. If only I hadn't bought a soundbar for the office TV a few months before the Playbar (which I've sounds great). I'm a total Sonos fanboy. Woof.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Its the only way to play The Connect is just brilliant. Once you have one of these you will never want to go back to CD's or downloads. Subscribe to Deezer or Spotify etc and you will have all the music thats available out there when you want it, and all controlled from the Sonos App on your phone, tablet or PC. The Sonos interface is just great, and blends seamlessly with Deezer. Sonos has got me back into my music. Now the first thing I switch on when I get home is my Sonos, not the TV. On top of that s looks fantastic. Its not cheap, but its worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great addition to existing wired stereo system I added a Sonos Connect to an existing wired stereo system that includes Bose speakers. Rather than buying a Play3 or Play5, the Connect gives me all the Sonos features through my existing Bose System. The Sonos app is great, and lets me access my music library, iTunes and endless radio stations. I highly recommend it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Random disconnection & reconnection Product works and sounds great when it works. Even with the Sonos Connect hard wired to the router it still randomly loses connection. Power interruptions disconnect it completely and it is very hard to reconnect. Usually requires reboot of everything or just plain waiting hours till it suddenly works. Everything else on my network keeps working but the Sonos. The connection process has been dumbed down so much that there is nothing that can be done to trouble shoot the problem. Push button, cross fingers. Very frustrating. It always seems to happen when company is over and you are back to plugging in the Ipod. Maybe if Apple made it, it would be more reliable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AWESOME product! I use this product with my Bose V35 home theater system and it is nothing short of amazing. The audio quality that reaches my Bose is clear and crisp. Easy to setup: Download the app, plug in unit, touch a button and "BOOOM", it's done.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff Works well to stream my digital music or music services to my audio system. I also use it with another connect and a separate amp/ speakers system and a set of Play 1's when hosting larger parties. Since music can be played only through Sonos controller I suggest following improvements: - ability to change duration of the Crossfade - ability to enable Crossfade on skip to next song Support for Blackberry phones would be really nice - android version works on BB but with occasional hick-ups... I believe that large base of potential customers own the BB.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nothing But Praise for the Sonos Connect dogtoes just now The Sonos Connect delivers my newly digitized CD collection to my analog amp, and household speaker system, flawlessly. Have it in play for 5-months and am totally satisfied. I do not have a need for playing music from a mobile device (iPhone or iPad), but it plays the music files stored on my NETWORKED hard drive, that I select from the Sonos Program on my computer. After setting up music queue, I am able to shut down the computer and enjoy the sounds.
