Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Fabulous Right Out of the Box!!! I just had purchased a Canon Powershot in September. It was the worst camera ever for using indoors...grainy, flash too bright, etc. I needed a simple camera to use for business purposes and didn't have time to take numerous shots of one item because of the camera. This time, I did research and while this camera isn't considered big, bright and beautiful...it takes close ups wonderfully, very easy to use, set up is a breeze (I'm 60 and did it without the manual), and also takes nice pictures outside. This was a great purchase for sure, and I have no hesitations in recommending it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little camera This camera does everything I was hoping for. I have a tremor in my right hand so was concerned about image quality, but the image stabilization feature works wonderfully. I was recently in Washington D.C.and got some great pictures. My only problem has been that the software doesn't work very well. When I try to share photos to Facebook, my browser crashes.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Slow to take next picture. This one had a problem seeing the memory card at times. It was slow after you took the picture before it was ready to take the next. I never checked what class the memory card that was supplied. It was missing some features of our older Cyber Shot. Replaced it the Cannon PowerShot ELPH135. So far I am happier with this one.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Camera has a problem Camera Viewfinder only has 3/4 of the screen showing. Can't see commands or whole pictures. Tried Sony online with no help. Can't seem to find out where or what to do with this Camera. I had another Sony prior to this and the LCD also took a nose dive, I am done with Sony period.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It is a good camera despite the negative reviews I almost did not buy this because of everyone saying it was slow. I originally tried it in-store on the demo booth and thought it was nice. I took macro images and regular images pretty quickly and they were pretty crisp. I do admit that it is a little small and not so heavy, so I do not get the impression that it can take a blow and last, but it is a camera and should not be thrown around or mistreated anyway. The controls are a little sensitive and I fat-fingered at first while navigating the menu during set-up, but once I realized that it was easy to compensate. Overall I love this camera. I use the auto features on everything and do not use the continuous feature. Then I realized that is where people may be getting the "slow" part... changing the ISO and using features that the general public would not use or change otherwise. So overall, it is lightweight and small and takes just a little getting used to, but is still a great camera to use. If I find anything that presents itself contrary I will add it later.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect size I needed a pocket-sized camera I could keep handy to take photos quickly when I needed to document something. I used this to take close-up photos, portraits, group photos and scenery. The photos were clear and the color was excellent. It had a slight learning curve to utilize all the features but basically it's ready to use. I did find the delay between pressing the shutter release until the photo is taken a bit frustrating. Overall, I'm very happy with this camera.
