Great sound from something in this size and form factor. Lithium Ion battery lasts 7hrs of wireless music playback. It uses Bluetooth audio streaming, and also has an Aux input for wired devices. You can also charge your mobile devices via USB from the speaker's internal battery.

The box it comes in is cute and compact. I thought the speaker was going to be much bigger than it actually was. I was a little concerned that such a small speaker wouldn't be able to blast the music like I wanted. Once you pop open the stand in the back and connect a device you will have a house party on your hands. It is super easy to pick up the speaker and move it from room to room while cleaning, and it sounds amazing in my bathrooms. When it is plugged in, you can go to a much higher vo lume than when it is wireless. Not necessary because when it is without it is plenty loud. As with any speaker there are times when it sounds a little wonky. Either the volume is too high and cannot handle the amount of bass in a particular song, or the volume is too loud on the device and needs to be adjusted...you will need to mess around and find the best volume settings for you. Right out of the box this machine is fairly light and extremely portable. The Soundfreaq Sound Kick has introduced some great features at a price that is easy on the pocketbook. It easily delivers a big, clear and powerful sound from a small space. It is easy to use when you are on the go, and can even charge your mobile device. You can listen to music or have your favorite movie playing loud for all to hear. I've had speakers in the past that have been just ok and I was really hoping that the Sound Kick would be better. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the sound quality is. I can turn it up full blast without distortion and the sound is absolutely amazing. I also love how sleek it looks and that it's very light. It only weighs about a pound and a half. One last thing I really like is the ability to charge my phone with this speaker while listening to music. I've had other portable speakers that don't have this capability. Great set of speakers for a good price!

When I received this speaker and used it for the first time, I paired it to my iPhone and played it for hours. I then paired it to my computer so I could enjoy the music on my computer on this speaker too! I just LOVE this speaker and I want one in their new Chromatic Twilight color. I really like that this speaker is wireless, with the option of plugging it in. I like that this device will work with other devices that use a standard headphone jack. Now if I want to go to the park for a picnic , I can bring my iPhone or iPod and speaker and have some music to listen to while I am enjoying my food. Well thought out design, and tremendous sound quality for a wireless speaker of this size, better than anything else in its price range. Sound is clear and balanced until the volume is set very high. The expandable sound chamber provides better bass response than one would expect in a speaker this size. All that is missing is a case, since the Kick is compact enough that it pretty much demands to be thrown in a piece of luggage for travel. [...] The Soundfreaq Sound Kicker has let me enjoy the holidays, yet again, in my family's traditional way. The sound quality and crispness is out of this world. The device itself is durable and well made. I'm beyond happy with this, and would recommend it to anyone. The fact that it uses a rechargeable battery as opposed to disposable ones, and that I can take it with me wherever I go, makes it even better. The Bluetooth works fantastic, and the size is right for any amount of space. I was a ble to walk from room to room without my iPhone and it wasn't until about 50 feet that the music stopped. Bought this as a gift to my mom, tried it out to make sure it worked, she almost didn't get it. Its a great speaker set, when I can find another for myself, its bought.

For my Birthday last year my husband got me a speaker to use with my iPhone. I listen to music on Pandora ALL DAY LONG. My old set of speakers had good sound quality but I hated that I had to take it from room to room and plug it into the outlet and have my phone plugged into it too. I was worried that setup might be difficult but I was happy to discover that it was really easy. I charged the speaker for 12 hours as recommended before using it. I then turned on the power and hit the pair button . I turned my bluetooth function on on my iPhone and it immediately found the Sound Kick speaker. It paired easily and in not time I was listening to my favorite music wirelessly without having my phone tied to the speaker in order to use it. The clarity of sound is great, easy to use, portable and great quality. I highly recommend it.
