Purchased two. Both were missing connector part K. Contacted Sterilite and part was sent priority mail within 24 hours. Great customer service. Hope it holds up in the outdoor elements.
I have four of these cabinets and am about to order three more. That certainly says something.However, on the negative side, the shelves sag with moderate weight. Moderate? For example, they sag to the point of product sliding to the center when loaded with one wall-to-wall layer of Pepsi cans.I've resolved this by using 2'x4'x5/8" "handi-panels," cut down a bit, to beef my load-bearing shelves up.On the positive side, Sterilite is an incredible company to resolve problems with ( right up there with Apple, no less). Fractured shelf or upright. . . FedExed the next day at no charge. Need extra shelves for close spacing. . . sold and shipped to you at very reasonable prices.All in all, a great company to deal with.
I bought this unit (Largo Mall store) to put into my kitchen to hold my pots, pans, general baking items (cookie sheets, etc). Brought the unit home and in a half hour, my husband had it put together-no problems. It is sturdy, easy to keep clean and I recommend these storage units highly. Am thinking of getting another one for my dishes, glassware, utensils, plastic ware and general kitchen storage. I also may get an additional one to hold my Mary Kay inventory. Miss Julie, Largo, FL
I live in a smaller home, do not have a garage or shed, and my basement is damp so I haven't been able to store much down there. Needless to say storage space is an issue for me. I purchased one of these to try out in the basement, and after a year, there is no damage to anything I stored in it(Christmas dishes, decorations,pots/pans, paper goods, etc.) from the dampness. It holds quite a bit, is very quick and easy to put together, and is fairly sturdy. The answer to my storage issues, I've no w purchased two more and counting!!! Waiting for another sale to purchase three more!
This is a great product. I just purchased two of these at my local store to organize my garage before the end of the year and keep garage dust off things. I even recommended it to a friend as something she could put on her covered patio outside for extra storage.I love that the cabinets were so easy to put together. I put both together by myself, however I did need to stand on a step stool to put the top piece on each one (I am 5'5").I also love that I have the flexibility to use as few sh elves as I want. I chose to use only three shelves in each one to accommodate taller items, including my shop vac which is sitting in the box it came in on a shelf. I have not tried it, but I think it may be possible to install a tension rod and none of the shelves for clothing storage.My cabinets were putty-colored with dark gray handles. Unlike other reviewers, my cabinets have small holes in each of the handles that can accommodate a lock with an extra long shackle. You have to bend down to see the holes. My standard-size padlock fit in the holes, but I could not close it because the shackle was not long enough. I will go purchase one with a longer shackle tomorrow.
It was easy to put together I I thought it would work well for my wifes garden supplies untill it rained. The top 2 shelves and the bottom one get soaked every time
All the reviews were great, I decided to buy, then when I was about to pay I saw that for a 69.99 item I was about to be charged 110.97 before taxes! This is an outrageous shipping!Careful when shopping.

This cabinet is great! The price is great, it's easy to put together (and I mean, if it's easy for me it's easy for anyone!) and it's very useful. The shelves are adjustable and because it's plastic, it's easy to move around. Conveniently, each part has a letter or number on it so when you're putting it together you're not confused about which part is which.
