For the tenth anniversary of Sublime's major-label debut, Universal gave the 1996 album an overhaul that truly warrants the labeling of a Deluxe Edition. Not only did it get the standard second disc of all these Deluxe Edition sets, but the proper album was resequenced to reflect the track order that Sublime settled upon prior to Brad Nowell's death -- a shuffling that subtly alters the flow of the album without altering its character. After that, the requisite B-sides, remixes, and alternate versions fill out the rest of the first disc and all of the second, including acoustic tracks, instrumental versions, and no less than five mixes of "Doin' Time," which may be overkill to some but they're the ones who won't be buying a Sublime reissue anyway. This is for the hardcore, and this will satisfy them: not only does it have a generous amount of bonus material, but the album is presented in a new fashion that provides fresh insights to a familiar album, all of which makes this a Deluxe Edition, Rovi
