i wanted it to work, i knew when i bought it i was taking a chance, because i had read your reviews and i thought there might be a chance that i could end up with a good one, but that did not happen, after about 7 uses it stopped working. i am disappointed, but will take it back and see if i can get a better quality coffeemaker.

for a [$$] coffee maker i have not had a single problem! it takes basic skills, pour in water, press button. the end. not sure how you can mess that up and i LOVE the hiding spot for the rest of the cord. I've had it for 6 months and i use it everyday for an entire pot and i have yet to have a single problem.

This isn't fancy, but I only drink 2 cups in the morning and wasn't looking for a complicated coffee maker. I wanted something to match the colors in my kitchen and get me by in the morning, Mine does leak when I pour it, so I make sure to do so over the sink. It does okay, for now.

I wanted one that didn't have bells sounding when the coffee was ready and this was it. Very quiet! I was amazed that the "pause & serve" works perfectly...NO DRIPS! Seems to brew faster than my old [other brand], too. I've had it for 3 weeks & love it.

After struggling a little to retrieve the cord from the very small hole in the back of the coffeemaker, I was completely caught off guard when the water I had just poured into the reservoir came quickly dripping out of the bottom of the coffeemaker!

I purchased the Sunbeam coffee maker in July. It worked fine at first, we make one pot of coffee a day, occasionally two pots. Then two weeks before Christmas it didn't come on when programmed to. My husband tried to turn it on but it wouldn't work.We had it only five months when this happened. So I returned it to the store where purchased & bought another one. We have only had it less than a month & it has already failed to come on when programmed twice. We have to turn it on ourselves at 5:00am- I expect it to stop working since the last one did that. I am now shopping for a replacement. My husband has to leave at 5:15am for work & would like to have the coffee ready when he wakes up. I am reading reviews of other brands to hopefully find a much better coffee maker.

I was a little hesitant after seeing the reviews but I only have good things to say about this. I've had no dripping/leaking problems. I think it works great and you can't beat the price. To those who mention going to buy a more expensive coffeemaker to stop the dripping/leaking...my mom has an expensive one and it has leaked like crazy and not one of my inexpensive coffeemakers have done that.
