  • Its a scam and they do not "replace" anything. Please dont waste your money. They send you back to the manufacturer as warranty work and you can do that without purchasing the plan. Its a scam

I read reviews on this product and was skeptical, but as it turns out, it is very useful. My camera spontaneously stopped working, and i called (at 1 in the morning, mind you) and I was immediately helped by a very helpful HUMAN. they didn't pester me, and within 10 minutes, I was off the phone, and had a label to send to them. All in all, a great service.

Its a scam and they do not "replace" anything. Please dont waste your money. They send you back to the manufacturer as warranty work and you can do that without purchasing the plan. Its a scam

This only covers mechanical breakdown. Unless you are quite sure that there will be a mechanical malfunction that is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty DO NOT PURCHASE this plan. This does not cover breakage from every day use or environmental damage - although I was given the pitch that it does cover everything, including water damage, with "no hassle". There was hassle and no replacement. Save your money.

targets protection plan is one of the great plans out there. had top use mY warranty on some items and they've tooken care of the problem. i recommend it if your planning on buying a high price item.

I just spend over 1 1/2 hours trying to use my 2-year extended service plan. Guess what - it's not 2 years. For electronics it only goes into affect after the products regular warranty expires. In my case - that's in a year. So, I now get to drive to a Sony service center 1 1/2 hours away to see if they can fix it. If they cannot fix it, then I can call Target back and they will consider it. This is a stereo that broke after 6 months. I spoke to a store manager, the service plan manager and the customer service center. The final reply was, "Thank you for registering your complaint so that we can improve our services in the future."

I agree with another review--the price is not worth the hassle, especially if you purchase a product that does not function after three months after purchase. They will only send you another one (which I dont want). Not to mention the service representitive was not friendly at all. I like target, but dont think its the best place to buy electronics.

Within the first week my product messed up. I called in and everything was very simple and now I have my new mp3 ready to go. Strong suggestion to anyone especially since it's inexpensive. You never know what might happen.

Difficulty registering item on-line.I have no difficulty on sign-in or accessing my account using my email and password. However, when they send the Extended Warranty notification and request one to put all the ID information on the lines of their description of what they want, their system all of a sudden DONT KNOW YOU. It is a great price for a..... dollar item. However if you were foolish and didnt print out the Email statement covering what you purchased and if you bought more than one ite m during the holidays youll have not success in finding out what it was that you purchased an extended warranty for. In summation it is rediculous. Use the item until it wears out and through it away. There is no way youll ever be able to get service or exchange on their flimsy warranty.

my kids have been hard on electronics - this gives me piece of mind for a couple of years. Not too easy, but also not too hard to get the replacement.

return policy

Most unopened items in new condition returned within 90 days will receive a refund or exchange. Items that are opened or damaged or do not have a packing slip or receipt may be denied a refund or exchange. All bundled items must be returned with all components for a refund. PayPal Purchases
