I bought this service plan for my Ipod Touch, for starters I want to just say GO TO [Retailer] or [Retailer}!!!! they have an in store return. They will replace it if they cant fix it IN THE STORE. Target's customer service is terrible, i went into the store, to try an get my Ipod fixed or replaced they wont even look at it or anything without the original packaging. The service plan says 3 year hassle free service. I got hassled in the store, then when i called the store to speak with the mana ger about this issue, the manager had horrible customer service. just a waste of a service plan and i would rather get treated with better customer service some where else.

my son's ipod started having a host of different problems... ie wouldn't always boot up... target sent us prepaid mailer,, we sent it in,, we just got our target gift card .. took about 2 weeks. This plan worked out well for us. wer'e now buying another ipod from target and will buy another service plan with it.

Hello Target:[......................][...........................................]Here is the problem in a nutshell.After loosing HI-DEF signal on a regular basis after less than a year. and having our local Charter Cable TV service people check all their equipment for defects (of which they've replaced the HI-DEF signal box and re-turned the signal to within tolerances (+12 to -12).The problem is with the 42" Westinghouse LED TV's HDMI circuit. It is starting to fail. All three HDMI ports run off the same circuit. So switching ports will not wok as a alternative.I called you and was forwarded on to Westinghouse which told me that I would have to ship the unit to their repair center. I can not accomplish that because I do not have the original shipping carton that came with the unit I purchased. I kept it 45 days, then tossed it.I bought the 3- Year extended warranty because if I had a problem, it would be nice to have someone come out and fix it on-site or exchange it for another unit that did work properly. Westinghouse says I must ship the unit to their repair center since they cover warranty for 1st year. I don't have the original box, because i tossed it out after 45 days.I am a loyal customer who is not happy. TARGET says their warranty responsibility only kicks in after the 1 Year factory Warranty has run its course. I don't want to damage my TV (We really like it a lot) shipping it back to Westinghouse.If things remain as they are now, I will be putting in a claim with you on July 1st, 2011. If that occurs, I will be telling all 4500 Tellico Village residents ( We have a local Newspaper who loves to publish articles from our members)that I have not had a positive experience with TARGET. There is a [ store name]both in Lenior City Tn & in Monroe, TN I'll be telling people to shop at more often.[name, address & e mail address]

I like many others have experience horrible product service from both Target AND Lifetime Services (since Target doesn't actually deal with the "fixes" themselves, they send it to a third party). I have a Zune that is practically BRAND NEW and one day simply refused to turn on. Since I had my three year service warranty I decided to cash in on it and have "Target" repair it. First, it took them two phone calls to even get my shipping labels. Second, I shipped it via UPS (who I know is speedy) on June 2nd, it wasn't serviced until June 7th and then "completed" on June 11th. The ONLY thing they did was open up my Zune (which I now find hard to believe according to other reviews) and claim that it was corroded due to water damage. Like many others, my Zune NEVER came in contact with ANY liquid, NEVER was in a hot car nor was it EVER in a hot bathroom or exposed to any sort of steam. Like I said, it is almost brand new with hardly any scratches. I'm going to have it serviced by someone else since I'm OUT of $300. I will NO LONGER buy any electronics from Target since their service plans are useless. I recommend you go somewhere else to spend your hard earned money.

my mom bought me the first ipod touch in august 2008. coincidentally, is broke a month before the service plan expired. so i turned it in and they refunded my money of [$]! the amount it was worth in 2008. im very greatful i had this plan. smiley face

Our house experienced a power surge and under this plan our Wii was replaced at no charge- very glad we had this!!

I bought this plan with my washer and I couldn't return it back to Target store. You have to go to Hire store if you 'll be able to find it in Chicago area

I bought a 19" Magnavox TV/DVD combo in 08/09 and I bought the 3 yr extended. A couple weeks ago the DVD player quit working. I called the number, told them what happened and they said they were sending me a Target gift card for the purchase price of the TV. Which I used to buy a new DVD player to hook up to the same TV and the rest for a new TV for the bedroom. This service plan is worth every last penny!!

Like the other reviews I just read (unfortunately after buying a service plan), I have run into issues receiving coverage for repair of my product (an iTouch) under Target's service plan. I sent my iTouch in for repair when it would not boot up. The repair center refused to repair it, but they reason they provided is not explicitly stated in the terms and conditions of my contract. I was told to call Target's Electronic Service Plan Center and have spoken to several people there, including 3 su pervisors. They all just repeat the same information to me ... verbally stating that my claim is denied; however, their explanation does not match what is written in the contract. Essentially, they are changing the terms and conditions of the contract verbally! They are unable refer to an actual copy of the agreement and refuse to put anything in writing to me. They say there is no one else who can help me (apparently there is no one above a supervisor level there) so I'm at an impass ... out $ and no where to turn. Very disappointing! I will not be purchasing electronics from Target again.

I just bought my new camera from Target and wanted to protect my investment. My previous camera broke and I had a replacement plan for it that refunded my purchase price in full. It made me a believer.

Most unopened items in new condition returned within 90 days will receive a refund or exchange.
