Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful Product This is a waste of time, energy and money. As another review said, the pins bend SO easily and nothing fixes them so you are out of luck and have to buy a new one. I am now on my second one and I am gentle with it so it's silly that they bend as easily as they do. It's Targets only option and for my older Canon, I need this to upload pix to my MacBook Pro as the memory card is too big for their direct drive insert.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This item is highly not recommended. I am very surprised Target would carry this product. I stopped by Target just to buy a card reader and this was my only option. I trusted their buying...until I bough this card reader. I wish I read the reviews before. The card reader continuously loses connection and I could never transfer my files. The price is low but this item does not work and I must say is disappointing. Please carry different brands or a better version.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Won't Last- Pass on this product When it works, this card reader will do in a pinch, but don't expect it to last if using compact flash cards. I am very gentle with my compact flash cards when inserting them, but I have still managed to bend the pins on two of these readers! The issue is due to the design of the card reader. Simply put, the distance between the front of the card reader and where the pins start isn't enough to ensure a properly aligned compact flash card. A slight mis-alignment will likely lead to a bent pin, rendering the compact flash part of the card reader useless. This is also likely due to cheap pins that are prone to being bent. If you don't need to use it for Compact Flash cards, you likely won't have any issues, but for those of you who need to import photos/video via compact flash, stay away from this unit. [...]

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not meant to take a beating, misleadering stock image too... For those who don't encounter issues such as disconnects and ejects, drivers needed, durability issues, this reader does what is promised. Note, the picture is misleading, there is a MicroSD slot on the same side as the USB plug-in. This eliminates the need for a MSD to SD adapter card.
