Romance novelist Ellen Wilder suffers a debilitating case of writer's block while reeling from her recent divorce, and becomes the prime suspect for murder when her handsome young neighbor turns up dead. Attempting to recharge her creative batteries by renting a secluded cabin, Ellen quickly forms a fixation on Michael, the friendly twenty-something who lives next door. Later, after Ellen begins documenting her growing obsession in blog titled "The Boy Next Door," Michael is brutally murdered. As Michael's parents attempt to use Ellen's blog as evidence that she should be considered a prime suspect, the writer races to uncover the identity of the real killer before taking a fall for a crime she didn't commit. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi
