Rated 2 out of 5 by from Battery Hog!! They do the job if you want to spend $10 on batteries a week. Spend an extra $20 and get a rechargeable set. You will be thankful because batteries are not cheap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from terrible Static / white noise Our daughter is 3 months old, went to finally put her in her Crib as she is too big for her bassinet and the static/white noise is terrible, I could not hear myself think, let alone hear if my daughter made a noise. I got my husband to talk quietly then normal tone in her room, I could hardly hear him even using the different volume settings. I dont trust this monitor at all, as she never cries for her 1st feed in the morning at approx 2am, she usually mummers and moves around a lot, it did not pick up this, it only picked up / I could hear when she actually cried.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good buy for the money Easy to use. My parents and I both have a set and we all love them. I use them in a small 2 bedroom apartment and my parents use them in their 2 story house. Static isn't bad. We have never had a problem with these monitors at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great deal I really enjoy that this charges from an AC adapter, rather than batteries & it has an excellent range.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value for the price We got this monitor as a gift at our first baby shower. It has been working well for over a year now. There is no set up, just plug it in and its good to go. This monitor is very sensitive and I can even hear baby breathe through it. I would recommend this monitor for a good low price and decent quality.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works well This item works very well for me. I can hear my baby very clearly in the speakers. The only thing i have a problem with is that when i turn the volume up on the speaker i have downstairs, it has a lot of static. But the one i have upstairs works perfectly.

BabyCenter Editors' review

What it is
This is about as straightforward as you can get with a baby monitor, but it works well. The disc-shaped transmitter is small and unobtrusive (and can be hung from the wall), and the two receivers are easy enough to tote around. There's a slight static noise that comes from the receivers, but it's mostly undetectable unless you have the volume turned all the way up. The nursery end of the monitor is silent as a lamb and picks up sound well from 3 to 6 feet away. There are no additional bells or whistles on this monitor, but if you're using it to let you know when your baby has woken up from her nap, it'll do the trick.

What to watch out for
This monitor doesn't work as well in noisy environments. As you increase the volume to hear your baby, you'll get more static.
