Country superstar Alan Jackson does not appear on this collection of his music. Instead, the International Country All-Stars lay into Jackson hits like "Chattahoochie," "Gone Country," "Meat and Potatoes," and "Don't Rock the Jukebox," with mildly entertaining results. Tasteful touches of pedal steel and Dobro enlighten many of the arrangements, and the main vocalist possesses a good bit of that popular Nashville hiccup. But he isn't Alan Jackson, nor are the musicians here the crack Music City studio cats that play on most of his records. The end result is a pleasant country album of songs you can have a few beers with. But save the really cold ones at the bottom of the cooler for the real Alan Jackson. Johnny Loftus, Rovi
