I put this together by myself the other morning.The bookcase is sturdy and well made, labeled very clearly, and the hardware was arranged in small packets according to direction's steps. Take your time. The only beef I had was with the locking pin and lock devices. You drop a circular lock into a hole and its corresponding bolt is tapped into its hole. HOwever, sometimes they dont jibe, because the lock's holes are drilled too deeply. I would highly recommend after step three to tap in the bolt, put the pieces in contact, and THEN insert the locking hoobyjiggy thingamabob. This way, you can turn it and make it surround the bolt instead of blindly trying to put the bolt into the lock. Other than that, it's great. Enjoy
I put this unit together in less than an hour by myself. The instructions were good, but the best part is that the parts were bundled and labeled for each step of the assembly, and they gave extra parts. It looks great. [...................] It comes with a strap to anchor it to the wall. I have a small living room and the shallow depth makes it a sleek fit.
I bought this bookcase to use as a stand for my flat screen tv. This one goes very well with the furniture in my living room and doubles as a stand and bookcase. The wood is solid and is very sturdy. It looks like an expensive piece of furniture. The price was very reasonable.
I bought this to use for a tv stand, love that's it a little taller and loving the shelves. As everyone else has said, this is definitely not chestnut, more cherry. Either way, I really like it and it was easy to put together.
Assembly was easy and the dimensions are great for my room. I agree with another review- I like it without the back panel. Even for the price though, it was cheap. The finish flaked off in some areas and it shows some damage out of the box. The 'wood' doesn't match in color for all the pieces -some pieces were a little lighter and others darker.
Just opened the box and was disappointed to find that the espresso finish bookcase is so dark it's almost black, much darker than pictured. I will be returning.
Saw this at my cousin's last weekend. I was soo impressed I signed on with my tablet and bought it right there on the spot! What is also cool, althought I live down the street from a Target, it was delivered to my doorstep before the next weekend. I didn't have to lug it to the register, to the car nor to the door of my apartment. #Winning
This was pretty easy to assemble and it looks very sharp. It also feels nice and sturdy. I loved how the hardware is bundled for each step, makes it so much easier to count parts and figure out what you need. The directions were pretty clear for a DYI assembly. I would recommend not tightening the cams at the top of the sides until you put the top on. At that point there are a lot of dowels and cam things to line up. I had to loosen a few things to get top on. Overall very pleased. Glad I bough t several for my new house.

[...] They look great and they look more expensive than the price. We did not assemble the back cover because it gave it an even more modern look. Overall, we are very pleased with this product and would definitely recommend this to anyone.
