This rug was beautiful out of the package-- it was made of silky, wavy, shag strands that were so soft to the touch. But after just three months in our high traffic living room, it looked like it was 10 years old... even after vacuuming. The shag material mats horribly and no longer retains its "fluff" or softness after being walked on over and over again. It feels like matted wool. I think I'll look for actual shag carpeting and have it bound next time. Not sure if all shag area rugs in this price range are this low in quality?

I bought this rug in the blue grey color for our service porch entry. It is a great rug, very comfortable under the feet. I wish they had more sizes and I wish it wasn't so expensive, but it is a great rug for the value. Looks and feels good. I want to get the larger size but will have to wait for awhile. It has a rubber backing so won't scratch the wood floors.

I bought this rug in store. When I got it home and unrolled it, there was a lot of white powder everywhere. It was the glue flaking off the back. I figured, new rug. It's probably a one time thing. Nope. Five month later and it's still shedding glue. Every time I take the rug up there is tons of white powder underneath it. Once I swept it up to measure how much was there and it was a quarter of a cup. And it's always that amount. Somehow, even though the glue dust is under the rug, I find it tr acked all over my house. And now the rug is falling apart because it's shed all it's glue all over my living room floor. [...]

We purchased this rug for our living room, to go under our coffee table. Our little one eats and plays there, so the carpet was looking pretty sad but this rug is the perfect size and it seems far more durable than the carpet! We've already cleaned up chocolate milk and juice and you can't tell anything ever happened! It is very scrubbable! We have the blue rug and it is a richer blue than the online picture- it also seems to have several different hues of blue, if you look closely and that giv es the rug alot of texture and makes it look more expensive! Definately a good buy! We've had the rug about a month now and it looks as good as it did when we bought it!

I ordered this rug in the starch color and it was delivered quickly and wrapped in plastic. It was not dirty. I worried about a white rug getting dirty in shipping. After a quick vacuum looked great. We put it under a king size bed on a hard wood floor. Adds a finished look to the room and a warm place to step out of bed in the morning.
