This cover is a good quality for the price. Ours has been tested twice. It has protected our mattress from our toddler's light diaper leakage and a substantial amount of the baby's spit-up. It held up well in the wash. And, it is comfortable/quiet to sleep on.
I've tested by pouring water on the cover and my baby already had an accident and it did not soak through. I've placed it in the wash several times and it still is holds up. Another feature is that it is breathable unlike others that make you sweat. Lastly, it does not sound like you are rolling around in plastic, it's like you are using another cotton cover, but it protects from leaks. I'm impressed and will by another!
I bought this as a mattress protector for my new mattress. The knit side is very comfortable to the touch, and it fit my 11" deep mattress well enough, but I'm not so sure it would work on a 13 let alone 15, this protector does not have any cushion but I was not looking for cushion, there was no shifting through the night, but it did not make it through the night. This mattress protector is incredibly HOT, it was a relatively cool night and I was only under a blanket, I tossed and turned as if I wasn't sleeping on a brand new mattress and after trying everything else I could think of to cool down I took it off of the bed at 3am and slept just fine for the next two and a half hours. Thankfully I don't NEED a waterproof protector for my new mattress, if I did I might try to deal with this but instead I would be returning. However, if I did have such a need I would keep it. My rating is for comfort over overall quality.
I bought this instead of a waterproof mattress pad (because the Target store was out of stock). I wish I had waited. Target claims this is waterproof, but it is not. At best, it is water resistant. My small child wet through this on the first night. What a waste of [money]. I have ordered other mattress pads online and will have to wait for them to arrive. I will be returning the extra mattress protector that I bought at Target.

We bought this cover for our 2 year old's new big boy bed. It fits a size full mattress perfectly without any problems/wrinkles, and it is comfortable to sleep on because unlike plastic covers, it breathes easily as you sleep on it. Our son had his first accident on it after 3 months of use and it stopped the leak, keeping the mattress completely dry. We couldn't be more pleased and impressed with it's quality. We have washed and dried it several times without any shrinking or stretching.
