I installed the original and it fit and wore beautifully. Living in Georgia, the sun destroys fabric so I was pleased to get almost two years out of it. Bought and installed the replacement and it lasted two weeks. Also, it was much harder to install and I eventually had to partially disassemble the gazebo to get it on. Really, really poor.

This model is similar to the older Summer Veranda gazebo that Target used to sell. I think this model replaced it. I have the Summer Veranda gazebo. The replacement top for the Summer Veranda gazebo has the smaller 36" x 36" upper tier portion that you may be looking for. I found that replacement top on [another retailers web site]. When you read the specs for the replacement top it even mentions the mix up people are having about the different size top.

I am now in my fourth year with my Magada gazebo. The original cover was faded and had a few pinholes so I replaced it this spring. I was able to find the right cover in stock at the local Target store. A couple of the rounded end caps had come off of the ends of the rods over the past winter so I replaced them with plastic half-inch chair leg caps from the hardware store to avoid sharp edges. As for the new cover, it fit perfectly on both the upper and lower frames. The whole gazebo looks like new. For durability's sake in the Iowa weather, I take the cover off at the end of October and re-install it in mid-May, leaving the frame up all winter to hang bird feeders on.

Loved the original canopy...replacement was junk. Too small, cheap thin material. Thanks Target for such a sub-standard product.

Very pleased with ease of purchase and quick delivery. Ordered on August 27th and received today the 30th. We ordered Olive color but does appear more of a chocolate/tan to me. But in our case this color works better with our brown brick exterior. I do agree with some of the earlier reviews stating how the fabric appears lighter weight or thinner than the original and also how the corner post pockets have a less robust stitching. Overall for the price it is a very good deal.

I was glad to find the replacement canopy as it was not available anywhere last year when we bought the gazebo. It's disappointing that the replacement is not the same quality as the original- the fabric is lighter weight and there is not as much stitching at the stress points. [...]

Our gazebo cover had rotted over 4 years in the sun. At first the replacement canopy did not look as if it would fit!! But with a little teamwork, we got it on nicely. The top section does not fit as nicely as the original (it's a bit loosey-goosey), but it still works. After finding out that the replacement worked well, we ordered another to keep in storage for 4 years down the line. ;-)

I purchased 2 Madga Gazebos and ordered 2 additional 'Olive Green' replacement canopies. They arrived quickly and appear to be of good quality however, the olive color is really quite tan and are just about the same as the original color, not what I was expecting so I returned them. [...]

I have 2 of these gazebo's and love them. They are very well made. I ordered extra replacement tops just in case I need them in the years to come.

I purchased the replacement and same issue as some other people had I purchased the gazebo about 2 years ago and the top of the gazebo replacement was way too big. So what are we supposed to use now for the top part?
