This quilt is quite lovely. It has a smart tailored look and both sides of the quilt are unique shades of purple. The online picture is WAY off in my opnion in terms of color. The lighter purple side is more accurately depicted in the picture for the HOME Puckering Comforter Set in Lavender and the dark purple on the reverse is dreamy eggplant color. The quilt is pretty thin, even compared to other quilts I've purchased at Target. For cooler nights, we just add another quilt and it's no big dea l. The quilt is also SUPER easy to coordinate with all of the other purple items Target is selling right now. Honestly, if I had looked online before going to the store, I would have overlooked this quilt because the color online is not something I would want to look at every day so if you want a purple quilt, go to the store and see it in person THEN make up your mind.

I almost did not buy because of the wash review. I decided to take a chance because the color was perfect. I am actually using the darker side. The front is lavender, the back is a deep purple. I bought a king size. I put it on the bed and found it was generously sized. I then washed in my home front load washer with Woolite in cold water and nothing else in the load. I dried on low, removed, and placed back on the bed with no ironing, no lint and no shrinking. It is light enough to keep on yea r round, as we keep a down comforter folded at the foot of the bed for style and comfort. The price was far less than any other king size quilt I considered. As you can see, it was perfect in every way.

I loved everything about this quilt until I washed it. Washed per instructions in a large commercial laundry mat, the thread completely fell apart. It was once a beautiful gray purple but now it is covered in thread pills. I will have to roll it with a lint brush and hope this works. Although the thought of rolling a king sized quilt both front and back is completely appalling. I had hoped that Target brand items were help to a little higher standard than this. Not typical of Target.

I recently purchased this quilt in a full/queen and I love it! I have found the color of the actual product to be much richer and more appealing than the picture, which looks lavender instead of violet. I gave it a four on quality, because I have only washed it once so far. I wash all of my bedding once a week, so it will be interesting to see how well it holds up. To wash it, I used a top-loading washing machine, because that is what I own and I refuse to sit in a laundry mat once a week. Anyway, I used cold water and Tide detergent. The quilt did have a small amounting of piling, which I noticed prior to placing it in the dryer. After being dried, it removed easily with a lint roller. I dried it on a regular heat setting and no shrinkage occurred nor did the color fade. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and hope that it will hold up over time. After a few weeks of washing, if I am still happy, I will be purchasing another on.

I thought they shipped me the wrong thing! No way is this violet or purple. Not only is it NOT the same color as I see online, but it isn't even the same color that is shown on the packaging. The lighter color shown here is a dark brownish purple and the darker color is a really dark brownish plum. I still look at the photo here and it is not the color of what I got. I turned around and packed it up and it is going back. Too bad because it was probably nice.
