Vivitar 5MP DVR 720P - Black is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too Bad I thought I was purchasing the other Vivitar which was in the [price] range and did not pay attention, it was late at night and I was in a rush. After I fully charging the item, I loaded my brand new Lexar 8GB card and took it for a run. I was in my bathroom which has ample light. I was so disappointed by the playback. It looked snowy at best. I fiddled with the settings and tried again, but to no avail. I needed this originally to record a recital which would have the audience in the dark and mostly intermittent spotlight on the stage. A once in a lifetime event which will not be dulpicated. I ended up using my camera with the new card to capture the event. A last minute decision that if I had more money two nights ago, would not have been an issue. Do not settle on the less expensive unless you know what the outcome of the purchase will be. You get what you pay for.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't waste your money I've had 1 megapixel cameras that produced higher quality photos. This is definitely not 5 megapixels.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from horrible zoom in past 1.0 which is the least amount of zoom and it is cell phone quality whenever zooming in or turning on the flash it makes a loud click which deafens the voices of people if youre recording for youtube or something like that so overall its a horrible produt now i know the product in the picture is different then the product said so im reviewing on the one in the picture

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Conflicting memory guidelines and instructions .1. Target lists this online as a Vivitar 720P-Black, but the image shown on their site is a Vivitar DVR 880HD .2. I bought the 720P, 880HD at our Target store .3. The quick installation guide says it can take up to a 32GB SD Memory Card, but the guide I downloaded using the disc in the package says it will take only 16GB .4. The downloaded guide shows that DVR 880HD has an HDMI port, but the 880HD I bought has none .5. The packaging mine came in says it has a built-in, rechargeable Lithium battery, but my downloaded guide shows instructions on how to slide open the case to access the battery My 880HD has no such slide capacity .6. The wrist strap was missing.
