I'm 32 & I'm petite. Im 5'2", 112 lbs. I have skinny legs & skinny calf. I always had problems finding boots that wrap around my calf w/ out too much gap. If you're petite & have this problem, look no more. Hoping target makes more boots for us petite women. Do not buy unless you have skinny calfs.
These boots are perfect for me! I wanted a pair that were not "slouchy" because I really don't like that look. These are great! I wear mine to work all the time -I work in retail- so I added gel inserts for arch support. They have scratched a bit but also I am not very gentle with them. I'm happy and have already convinced another co-worker to get them, and just bought a pair for my friend for xmas in brown - I have black. They are good for the price.
These boots are made for women with smaller calfs so petite ladies, we're in luck! They may scuff a little with wear but a good wipe down or polish solves the problem. These boots are still flattering even with a few ridges due to wear. My boot doesn't make clicking noises. If your expectations are too high, then buy an expensive pair of leather boots! These are great for the price you pay!
Boots got scratched deeply on the first day I wore them. Look nice, but not very good material. Am going to try to return them - materials are poor quality
When I tried these brown colored boots on in the store, I thought they were a sharp looking pair of boots. Now that I wear them around the house a little, I don't care for how the shafts get slightly slouchy. If they were made of a better quality "pleather" that had more thickness to it, that wouldn't happen. I really like the ankle strap and brass colored piece at the heel, but the pleather is too low of a quality for my liking. As others are saying, the shafts are a snugger fit, and They do seem to run true to size. In my opinion, these could have been greatly improved if they would have just made them w/ a pleather that had more thickness to it. Although I love their styling, I will be returning them. I would like to mention, in the last couple of years, I have bought 5 pairs of genuine leather boots from Target and really like them all.

I like these boots and think they were a pretty good deal for the price. They are very comfortable and fit well even though I have short legs. The one thing I really don't like, though, is that the straps around the ankle move around when I walk and make a loud squeaking noise as they rub against the boot. It's annoying, but I'll keep these anyway.
I'm pretty short, 5'1", looking at a few other sites where the shaft height was 18" and advertised over the knee, I expected these to be the same. They hit just below my knee. Whoever measured from the bottom of the heel, which is about 1.5" to begin with, but the shaft still only measured 17" on a size 7, should be 15.5" - learn how to add and subtract! I have pretty muscular calfs, but they fit over them, they are a little tight, but they would fall down otherwise. T he order came in 7 days, which I thought was pretty long and they put a sticker on the top of the boot, which left some glue marks, that I managed to wipe off. The boots are pretty cute and fit me well, I'm gonna have to stretch them out for thick socks. Debating keeping them.
I loved these boots when I bought them and they were great the first few times I wore them. However, after the 4 or 5th time the sole of the right boot fell off. As if the glue or something wasn't strong enough. I am very disappointed as these were my favorite boots when I bought them.

I love these! They fit me perfectly! They are a lot tighter than all the other boots I own though. With my other boots I can slip both my fists with my leg in them. But with these on I can only slip in an open hand. It doesn't bother me though, i'm just saying to inform you all! I'm 5'1 & 90 pounds, I have skinny legs, so If you weigh a lot more I don't recommend you purchase these. They feel and look good for the price!
