I ordered these boots on a whim, having admired them for a few months. My style tends to be more preppy/girly, so I wasn't sure how these would work. Once they arrived, however, I fell in love. In the 6 weeks since I bought them, I've worn them at least 3 times a week. The construction and materials are beautiful, I have had no problems with scuffing etc. I did order a half size up, however, and did not need to. These run true to size and are incredibly comfortable. So many people have m istaken them for Frye boots. Well worth the money and a welcome addition to my closet.

I bought these in brown and black. The black ones are perfect, but these, for some weird reason, rub my ankle really bad. I think there's a difference in the leather, and I'm hoping that they will soften up as they break in. They look amazing, and fit well, once I can get my high arch past the harness. The first time I put them on, I used a thin plastic bag to help get my foot in. After the first time I haven't had a problem. There is a little slippage, but in this style of boot, there's s upposed to be. I like these boots, and think they're a decent, lower cost, alternative to Frye. If only these were as great as the black ones, out of the box, I'd be thrilled.

I bought these boots on sale last fall,they are true to size,I wear 8-1/2, I have received numerous compliments on these and yes they look like a name brand. I love these boots so much I am ordering another pair as soon as they come back into stock.
