I love love LOVE these boots!!! I normally wear a 9 to 91/2 but I ordered these in a 10 since I have larger calves and slightly wider feet and I have learned with boots with no zippers a bigger size is usually easier to get on. The 10 fit perfectly, once I got them on. The leather was a little stiff when I first got them but after a day of wearing them they softened up nicely, and continue to do so every time I wear them. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they fit well on my wider cal f--the adjustable buckle really helped! The color is wonderful and actually, as I wear them in more the leather is lightening up more in certain places giving them a nice "vintage" or worn-in look. These boots are just as nice as other MUCH more expensive name-brand boots in this style. You CANNOT beat the prices from Target!!!

I've been looking for boots for months, and I finally just bought this pair because they were way cheaper than the ones I have been looking at & they looked cute--and I think they are super cute, and I get compliments on them too. Yes they are a little wide in the ankle but I wear thicker socks & leg warmers and it works out just fine. Props to Target because I got them really quickly so that was great, but I am not a fan of these. They are true to size (I am a 7 and the 7 fits perfectl y, even w/thick socks) but fairly difficult to get on and not that comfortable. After just a few hours of wearing them part of the boot under the ankle bone had rubbed the sides of my feet RAW. I needed band-aids asap and now it hurts when I wear other shoes-not cool. I understand I paid for what I am getting, but I have bought boots before from Target and was happy with the other pair. They also leak, so do not expect to be able to walk in the snow or rain without getting your socks wet. And I understand these are fashion boots and not winter boots, but there shouldn't be leaking. These will do for now, but I'm going to avoid wearing them unless I absolutely have to. I guess I got what I paid for! Lesson learned. I give them 2 stars for them looking cute & the super fast shipping and awesome price, but the comfort factor ultimately made me give this a low rating.

I've been looking for brown boots for a couple of years. They have never fit right or the color has been too light. After reading reviews on these boots, and knowing I could return them to the store, I decided to give them a shot. The color is perfect. They aren't a solid brown. The brown has some black in it, I think it is a way of making them look weathered. The boot is stiff so no slouching around the ankles. It is a slip on boot, no zipper. I often have the problems of boots being t oo tight around the calves, not a problem with this boot. Boot is true to size. I wear a 7 in a dress shoe, 6.5 in a sneaker. I bought the seven and am happy. I knew if they were slightly big I would be able to wear thicker socks with them. I wore them with a short dress and socks when it was in the 80's this last week, very comfortable! But, like most shoes not perfectly comfort. I'll be wearing these boots for a long, long time!

These boots quite simply are amazing, especially for the price! I would pay more for boots like this but so glad I didn't have to. Yes they are a stiff leather as other reviews have stated, I used mink oil on mine which helped to soften the leather a bit. For me these boots were comfortable right out of the box and continue to get even more comfortable the more I wear them. I had no problems fitting my foot into the boot. They fit me true to size, 8.5, and i find there is plenty of room i n the calve to fit my jeans. I even ended up tightening the buckle on both the top and the bottom. If you are debating getting these due to the few bad reviews on here I would say go for it and get them! These truly are awesome boots!

So I consider myself as a person with muscular calves, I found these boots in black about a year ago. They are perfect! They fit snugly around my calf and are still in great shape even after a little more than a year. I go everywhere in them,andThese boots hold up through everything and make you look good while your doing it. And to my surprise, I can even fit my skinny jeans into these boots!My only complaint is the top of the boots stick to my calf with a material that feels like plastic wr ap you put on food. Butto fix that, I wear a black sock that goes about and inch higher than the boot, and it just looks like it is part of the boot. I just found these boots to be more comfortable than my [...] and [...] boots.Also, the other day my friend asked me if these boots were [...]boots, when I told her they were from target her mouth dropped WIDE open. JUST GET THEM, for fifty dollars... its not a bargain, its a steal.

I just got my boots and wore them around the house for a bit and I have to say, these are fantastic. I normally wear an 8W so I ordered an 8 1/2 since there was no wide option. They are a bit snug in the width but after just a few minutes I could feel them give a little, so I have a feeling they will form to my foot with a few wearings. They are pretty comfortable, if it weren't for my wide feet these probably wouldn't need any break in time. The quality is much better than I expected for what I paid. I've looked them over carefully and I can't find a flaw anywhere. I grudgingly ordered these after I decided that I just couldn't charge the 300+ pair I actually wanted (we all know what I'm talking about right?) so I was really looking for a reason to hate these, and I just can't. They are a thick "greasy" leather very similar to some much more expensive harness boots I already own, a bit stiffer, but I imagine they will break in. The only place these do show their price, imho, is the soles. Don't get me wrong, it is a perfectly serviceable thick rubber sole, nicely flexible, just you can tell by the look of it its not a [$] sole, which of course, it isn't, so can't really complain about it, just an observation. On the plus side, this sole makes the boot much lighter than a comparable boot with a sole that's actually supposed to protect your foot from the road. My only nit to pick: there is about 2 inches of vinyl around the inside of the top of the boot, I assume this is there to keep the top from deforming from repeatedly pulling the boot on, but it sticks to bare legs. This probably won't be an issue for you skinny girls, or obviously if you're wearing them over jeans or tights, but I kind of wish they'd either have used leather or left it out entirely. Overall though, I am thoroughly impressed, enough that I'm going to try another target boot. Imagine the money I will save on my leather boot addiction if Target keeps making these great "homage" boots! Five stars, without a doubt.

I love the Frye boots that look just like these but cost [$]. I wasn't about to spend that much on boots, so I tried these. I absolutely love them. I am petite but my calves are very muscular. I had no problem with the width on these, which surprised me. They are even adjustable because of the buckle on top. The dark brown is really nice, kind of vintage looking but feels supple. Comfortable to walk in because of the low heel and round toe. I can't wait to wear these with some tucked in jeans, which is something that I never thought I would be able to do, considering my calf size. They are a little bit difficult to get on because there are no loops on the top for pulling and no zipper, like another pr of Target boots that I have. Otherwise I have absolutely no complaints and I am super excited about these!

I ordered these boots based solely on the reviews so I figured I would add my own 2 cents. I am amazed at what a deal these boots are. I am very picky and have never paid less than [..] for a pair of boots because it's hard to find quality and real leather with style. Now that I am in graduate school on a tight budget... I figured it couldn't hurt to just try these out. Let me just say... everyone thinks these boots are made by [brand name]. I usually wear a size anywhere between a 7-8 so I ordered a 7-1/2 and I think a 7 may have worked better but I kept the 7-1/2 and they are just fine. In regards to them being "big" in the ankle like a rain boot... I wish I would have gone with a 7. My heel kind of moves around because they are bigger in the ankle. HOWEVER, I tightened the strap around the heel and the one on my calf and it made a huge difference. The looseness in the ankle area also makes them super easy to get on and off.

I'm in love with these boots. I bought them in December 2010 and they have served me so well. They were my go-to shoes when I was traveling around Europe last year. They're comfortable, sturdy, fashionable, and kept my feet dry even on days when I was out walking in the rain for several hours. My feet never hurt even after walking around on cobbled streets for hours and hours, too. And they're cute and go with lots of things. My favorite shoes, for sure.

These are the greatest boots EVER! I'm constantly getting compliments on my boots. They have that great rustic worn look so if that's what your looking for, get them! A sales person at a very upscale store about died when I told her where I got them, she said they look like 4 hundred dollar boots! I just ordered the black pair...
