I really wanted something original when it came to rainboots. Something besides the cliche red or black. I fell in love with the turqoise fish boots, and even my husband likes them. They fit okay, but barely. I'll probably get a bigger size, and I didn't even size down. Mostly, I'm really annoyed with the color. Turqouise and Navy are not even near the same color. If I'd gotten BLUE, even, I'd be less upset. They're dark navy. I assumed I'd gotten the wrong pair, but Navy isn't even a choice, s o I'm stuck with these.
I have a more expensive pair of rain boots, and I bought these for the fish print. These were FAR MORE comfortable than my other pair, because the rubber is thinner than a higher quality, therefore, it doesn't rub against my ankles causing sores. My boots have already gone through a beating, but they've held, so I guess they are made well, too. I highly suggest these boot. They're darling!
I looked at the reviews for other boots, they all said to size down, so we ordered 8 for a normally size 9 foot. They fit fine. Color was as expected. Haven't worn them yet so no comments on comfort.

The fit is great. I have really large calves and can never find boots to fit me but these worked great. The only problem was the color. I ordered yellow, the pretty and sunny bright yellow in the promo image. The boots I have are almost green. It looks more like a light lime that walks on the line separating green from yellow. So just beware that the colors are very different from the promo images.
