First... how anyone could leave a review saying these are cheap is beyond me. Most boots run [$$] for high quality. If you're expecting high quality, spend more to get it. The boots are super cute. There is a very thin heel- I mean less than a quarter inch- so I'd be afraid to wear these out on wet ground because they would get wet all around the bottom. There is also zero arch support. The calves are very wide- I wouldn't buy these boots if you have narrow calves. My calves are 16.5 i nches whatever... I was a runner for years... and they JUST fit at the top. They do stretch out a bit, too, as you wear them. I usually wear 9-9.5 in shoes, and I sized up to a 10 in these. I think a 9.5 would probably fit, too, but I like to keep the option open to wear thick socks in the winter.
I was hesitant to buy boots online without trying them on. I have muscular calves and need a wider boot. These are awesome! They are truly so comfortable. But, depending on the jeans, they will be a bit snug around the widest part of the calf. Great with leggings and denim leggings. I highly recommend them.
Nice chocolatey brown color. Shoe fits true to size, I'm a 6.5 to 7 and I ordered 6.5. The shoe part is still roomy like loafers which makes it comfortable to wear. The calf part is a little loose on bare legs but with jeans would be perfect. My calf size is 14". Even though there are buckles, tightening the calf part one notch makes it too tight so it definitely is a slouchy look. I'm 5'3" and the boot rises to about 2" below my knee. Overall it's a flattering boot for the price . My one gripe about it is the shoe part is not the same size on both sides. Both are marked 6.5 and my feet fit in both but the right one definitely feels tighter. I know for sure they're different because I cut two insoles exactly the same dimensions and put them in the boots. There was a small gap around the left insole and no gap at all around the right insole. In order to make left and right boots feel equal in size, I would need to wear the right boot without an insole. So poor quality control.
[...] I saw these online and I really liked the style, but I wasn't sure they would look as cute in person. I got them a few days ago and I have to say...I found my perfect boot! They are nice and cozy inside, the suede is very soft and doesn't look cheap. I like the style and the comfort and especially the price. Now, I have no expectations that these are going to last me 10 years like a pair of [...] might, but they will be great for this season and maybe next and by then I'll want a diff erent style anyway. I think they are cuter than a lot of the more expensive boots out there, too. Overall...a GREAT value for a cute pair of boots!
These are great, comfortable boots that go great with leggings and skinny jeans. They look identical to the picture, except the fact that the buckle is a silvery-black color rather than shiny silver. The boots still look great though. I want to get the brown color boot in this color, but they are always "unavailable." Hopefully some more will be in stock soon, so I can order that color next.
I always "poo-pooed" boots like these before I bought them! I thought I'd give them a try especially because they're affordable. I have worn them so much, I need a new pair already! They are so comfortable and so cute- I've gotten so many compliments!
I just received these boots. Very cute and would recommend. I went by other reviewers and ordered these boots a little bigger. I normally take a size 9 or 9.5 and orderd a 10. They fit perfectly. I would recommend these as they fit well and the price is right!
After reading all the great reviews I decided to buy these boots last year (2009)... and wow, i'm so glad i did!! Here's the scoop...#1. I weigh 110 pounds and my legs are toothpicks. With skinny jeans these boots are NOT too big. If you're looking for a super tight boot, they do slouch a little bit, but not much. For those with bigger calves, these will make a fantastic, snug fitting boot.#2. I bought my true size. If you're going to wear really thick socks with these I would suggest going a h alf size up. Otherwise, stick with your size.#3. In the winter, it rains here a lot. I was worried about their waterproof abilities...and no, I'm not jumping through puddles, but the boots do get rained on quite a bit. They have never soaked through and the exterior material really holds up well. They look as new as I when bought them.#4. The insides are super soft. The bottoms could use some cussion, but I've never had a problem with it. I must add that I wear these every, single day... and I walk a lot since I live in the city. My feet never ache.#5. I bought flats because I have back problems. They are mostly flat with a very slight heel. If you're super tall and don't want any height added... these are seriously flat enough. It doesn't add any noticeable height. And for those with back problems... i have scoliosis and it doesn't bother my back at all. In fact the slight heel makes me stand up straight more.#6. The tread is perfect. Not too much that you look like you're wearing army boots, but not too little that you face plant on your way to your car.All in all, these boots are great quality. After owning them for a year and wearing them EVERY DAY, they are a great buy at the price. I highly recommend these boots!!
I love these boots. They are extremely comfortable and fit around my large calves ..just not with jeans... The only thing is one of the bottom's started to unglue pretty quickly. Nothing a little glue can't fix! It's not enough to make me want to return them..!!

After reading a ton of reviews I finally decided to order these boots even though it did not say the circumference of the boot but that they seemed to fit larger calves. Well I have 15.5 inch calves and I can zip these boots up over thin jeans, leggings or wear them plain with a dress. They are thin so I doubt they will be warm in the Minnesota winters but for the price I couldn't pass them up! Also I have struggled a lot with trying to find a cute boot for my larger legs, this is perfect!
