My 7-year-old daughter and I were both excited when the Friends line came out, especially this tree house. Watching her follow the diagram and assemble it herself was well worth the price. Even her older brother was impressed with the "secret compartment." We are having fun composing different scenes and taking pictures of them, and I'm sure this will only get better as we add to the collection. see less

My 7 year old saw these and wanted to try them. She liked seeing how other Lego sets were put together but then lost interest. This set has held her interest and I thought the treehouse left a lot of room for imaginative play. I really don't understand the drama about the Lego Friends line...at first I was skeptical too...what, girls can't play with regular Legos?...but once I saw how much my daughter enjoyed them I got over it. They're Legos marketed to girls, not the only Legos for girls. see less
