Being an undergraduate student, I enjoy portability and ease of access. To my delight, this little electronic dictionary offers just what I need. I understand people only scan reviews, so I will be concise. The pros:--Contains a dictionary, thesaurus, punctuation & style guide, geographical dictionary, biographical dictionary, and 5-language translator (not to mention games and exercises)--Large lettering is easy to read on the screen--Definitions and explanations are clear and simple--Navigation is easy and all seven "books" are available in a list the moment the unit is powered on--Underneath the plastic cover on the inside is a quick reference guide for basic navigation of the main menu, word look-up, etc.The cons:--The Biographical Dictionary is hard to navigate because some names of historical figures are listed first name last instead of last name first. After playing around with the unit, it is clear that some digging is needed to locate some people!--Each key on the keyboard must be pressed hard in order for the letters to be recognized, in the age of lightning quick texting, young people might find this annoying. In the end, this unit is a good deal for the price. For those who enjoy reading a plethora of books and feel the need to have a quick reference nearby to look up words, I highly recommend this device.
