These wipes are usually our "back-up" wipe when we don't have another of our favorite all natural wipes we use. The 7th Generation are pretty good wipes and do the job. I just don't like how they seem a little rough/a little dry. Compared to most other wipes, they just seem dryer. They have print indented in the wipes, like little teddy bears or something, if I remember right. I think the fact it has a print indented into it might add to the dryness. The wipes would probably be better, in my opinion, without the print in them. But the fact that it's for the most part a clean, all-natural wipe, that's the plus about these! Just not my number one choice!
We use cloth but at night I like to use a disposable so we buy a little more mommy daddy sleep time. Other landfill diapers make baby's skin wrinkle and shrivel which makes me cringe. His body stays beautiful, everything is contained, and there's nothing harmful against his skin. Very pleased at this early stage of four months.
This is the only disposable diaper my daughter has used since leaving the NICU, and we haven't had any issues at all. She usually wears Fuzzibunz cloth diapers, but these are great for when we're out and about all day or traveling for the weekend. I'd say they work great since we haven't had any leaks or blowouts in them. Plus they don't feel itchy or scratchy.
Since my son was born 7 weeks ago I have been using this diapers. I have no complain about it. I researched a lot for different brands chlorine free and this is the cheapest option. Target also offers the most competitive price. I feel good knowing that I am watching over my son's health and the enviroment
I was a little nervous to wash my baby's bottles and feeding supplies with regular dish soap due to all the harsh chemicals. I have been using the seventh generation free and clear dish soap for a year now and it's been great. I cannot vouch for pots, pans and other dishes because I haven't used it on those items, but it seemed to work great with bottles, nursing parts, sippy cups, etc. My hands aren't dry either after washing which is a bonus!
Great product, I will continue to use.
No overpowering smell. It's clean and does a great job cleaning. The price is a little higher than other brands, but I pay it b/c I like that it is more natural and not so "perfume-y" smelling. a little goes a long way.....one bottle lasts a long time for me.
Was looking for a very lightly scented hand soap that had natural ingredients in it. I greatly dislike most of the hand soaps out there because they smell terrible or way too strong! Found this at a local Target where I live. First off you get a nice sized bottle and the price is great. Very subtle scent, lathers up wonderfully, and it makes my hands feel so soft afterward. No harsh ingredients in it, either. Love it! I would highly recommend this to everyone, and will definitely continue to buy more when this runs out. Its a lovely hand soap!
I was looking for a more natural stain remover, and on a whim decided to try this. It is AMAZING. It comes out foamy and works wonders in the wash. It got out almost all the baby food stains from my daughters clothes, except some really bad orange food stains, but after a second wash they came out. I am so impressed!
My son is 15mn & I don't know why it took so long for me to switch! These are the best if your child has sensitive skin. Within two days of usage, he was rash free! I still use pampers nighttime diaper as they hold up extremely well over night, but during the day, they are amazing! They do not feel like plastic, unlike Luvs, and the shape is perfect! The elastic band in the back keeps the diaper secure. We have had no issues at all! The only reason I gave four stars on value is that they are a bit more expensive than other disposables but if your concern is more about quality, they are the best!!!
My daughter had the worst diaper rash. It actually was bleeding. I tried all types of diapers. I was about to use cloth when I found Seventh Generation. I love them. We have had a rash free bottom since we switched. No leaks at all. I even use the baby wash and lotion. It is very good for sensitive skin.
I really really like these diapers. As a third time mother, I wanted to try something different with my last child. We started him in pampers and had to put diaper rash creme with every change. Once we switched to these, the rash went away. I also like how these diapers are not bleached white and the lorax Dr. Seuss character is adorable. He's in these until potty training for sure.
I wanted a healthier alternative to regular detergent. After some research, I decided to get seventh generation a try. First time wash on some dirty white socks and just wow. Super white! I tried it on every kind of fabric and colors and every time you get amazing clean results. This is going to be a regular in our laundry room.
This product shatters the old world expectations of green cleaning products. Because compared to both the mass market and other green brands (and I've tried them all), I find that the 7th Gen dishwasher powder works the best. You don't have to settle for lackluster results to "save the planet."
From what I can tell, the 75oz sized boxed powder detergent is only sold at Target. Most other stores sell the smaller boxes for [..].
(I have municipal "hard" water with 100+ yr old plumbing; I use a full sized / full featured Maytag portable dishwasher)
* Glassware turns out crystal clear and sparkling, so no need for rinse aid (making this product well worth the price).
* Super tough / dried on and/or super greasy dirt is scrubbed off, even on the insides of deep bowls. (I've only had problems with microwaved, dried on egg)
* Free & Clear + 7th Generation = no chemical ladden steam entering your household air.
* Most dishwasher techs recommend powder detergent as better for your dishwasher.
* And if you're sensitive to the most minute "chemical smells and tastes" as I am, you won't taste "dishwasher detergent chemicals" on your glassware when drinking water or anything else for that matter.
(ischsnay worries about ingesting chemicals on your dishes)
Conditions necessary to generate the above exceptional results:
(factor's I've discovered through trial and error)
1. At the very least, your dishwasher's rinse temps need to be super hot. The heated water function is good for the wash cycle. But it's crucial for the rinse cycle. (I do the 3 rinse cycles)
2. I never use my heated drying function. So I'm really not sure how dishes turn out with the heated drying.
3. VERY IMPORTANT with any detergent. You absolutely must load your dishwasher correctly... so that water can flow freely and jet-spray on all of the dishes. No brand of detergent will work if you don't load your dishwasher correctly. Nobody saves $$$ by combining 2 loads into 1 and ending up with dirty dishes.
4. Clean your dishwasher by running a full cycle with an empty machine. I often use Lemi-Shine to clean my dishwasher. Some people use white vinegar. Some people follow kosher guidelines. Clean your machine every 2-3 mos for best results and a longer lasting dishwasher.
I've been experimenting with some of the more "eco-friendly" dish detergents and have been the most pleased with this one so far. It cleaned the dishes and did not leave an abundance of spots on glasses. Other soaps have left a white film, and this did not.
Knowing that many of the eco-friendly brands are more expensive than others, I'm OK paying a little extra for this and actually find it to be more reasonable then some.
This detergent is fantastic. I use it for everything from darks to colors to towels though I have never tried it on just whites because I don't have enough for a whole load.
The scent is absolutely amazing.
I use the whole line - detergent, liquid fabric softener and dryer sheets and couldn't be happier. Plus Seventh Generation does not participate in any animal testing unlike the major brands such as Tide which is distributed by Proctor and Gamble, a leader in animal testing.
I absolutely love this laundry detergent! Not only does it smell good, it also cleans your laundry very well. When I was out of pretreat I used this on the stain and it took the stain right out. Love that it's all natural and like many other products 2x concentrated so it's in a smaller container, overall a great product.
I have no problems with any leaking. at all. They hold well through the night on my 3 year old. They have less chemicals in them which is wonderful since I used cloth diapers on my babies. I use these on nights when I don't feel like taking the chance of having to wash sheets. They hold everything in and fit well. They have rip away sides too like other pull ups. All in all.....fantastic!!
ONE BIG BEEF with Target.com on this item, the package sent to me is manufactured in MEXICO, not USA as stated in "Item Details".
As for the diapers themselves, they seem rather papery at first, but soften as they're being put on. Baby seems quite comfortable in them. They do feel a bit wetter when peed in than some of the other brands, but no leaks so far.
I bought these at a pretty elevated price. Advise waiting for a sale as these are less costly at other online shopping places.
