I had a small Timex travel alarm that I had forever that went out and was looking to replace it. Saw this little one and thought I would give it a try as it had the same basic features. Big mistake. It was easy to set, but everytime I would push the snooze button or wake up in the middle of the night and push the light button to see the time, the time and alarm button would reset back to 12 oclock. I used it three nights, so every night I reset the thing twice in the middle of the night. If you don't plan on touching the thing until it is time to wake up, then it will probably work for you, if not don't buy it. Also, the packaging to get into it required that you demolish the entire packaging beyond recognition, so there was NO chance for a return. Keep looking for something better. see less

LOVE this! When we transitioned my daughter into a big bed she realized she could get up any time she woke, even at the crack of dawn. This completely fixed that. Now every morning at the preset time, we hear "Woo-hoo! My clock's green, I'm awake!" from her room. And I'm proud to say we've only manipulated the wake-up time once- but we all had had a really late night after moving and desperately needed an extra hour of sleep. Sometimes though, I wish she'd realize that just because she CAN get up doesn't mean she HAS to... see less

This clock is battery operated (batteries not included). It works well. My son who used to like to get up at the crack of dawn now knows that if his clock is not glowing green, he needs to go back to sleep. see less

It works perfectly. Nice big cool green numbers that I can see without my glasses are a plus and I can keep it on one of the several dimming stages as long as I wish. I found that it does retain the current time during power outages and the dual alarm system fits my daily schedule well. And it's attractive and inexpensive. I don't think you could ask for more in an alarm clock radio than what this offers. see less

I was honestly looking for an analog travel clock, but this will do; both, give the time. My current travel clock will be used on the road. No more need to touch a backlight at night, when I am at home. I had this puppy set to my time zone in less than 1 minute. I am deaf, and wont use the radio, only the buzzer alarm and time. Per the other reviews, I felt I couldn't go wrong with this purchase. It also beat finding a clock online, and waiting for it to arrive; also, paying shipping costs. The brightness looks okay on the lowest setting, but it is not dark; yet..... see less

This clock has suited our needs just great. Our 2.5 yr old was waking up earlier and earlier. He was crabby b/c he wasn't getting enough sleep and we were struggling to get everything done in time with him up so early. My favorite function is that the green light is fully programmable-both when the light turns on, "ready to wake", and when it eventually goes off. This was important in my opinion. My niece has A DIFFERENT ONE, but the "ready to wake" light turns off after only a half hour. So if she sleeps in longer than a half hour then she's missed it. with THIS ONE it will stay on 'til the time you programmed it to turn back off--for us it's several hours after we think he'l go to bed....you know, just in case we're lucky enough to have him sleep in several hours! Lastly, I should add that I love how its either batter-powered or can be plugged in. see less

im 14 and i love the way the colors change. it's an alarm clock so the features are a pretty basic. I think its a great alarm clock and it does its job. I wake up on time and when i do wake up, i can see the pretty colors!!!!! see less

Pretty much you get what you pay for. We'll be keeping ours. The only real problem is that we have ours set up near our house phone due to a limit on outlets . The phone and clock somehow interact and the radio becomes all staticy, with a buzzing sound to it. see less

We are so happy with this colorific clock. It has 7 colors of varying intensity and hue within its small stature. The best thing is the dimmer setting for complete darkness at night. Kids like to fiddle with easy buttons, too. So cool. see less

I have medical problems and one of the side effects memory impairment. This clock allows me to constantly remember the day of the week, date and, of course, the time. I have a lot of clocks and calendars, but this allows me to see everything at one time to reinforce what I need to know for the day. I have to lie down during the day and am up at night several times and it is a valuable tool to keep me my mind well informed. I love the clock and also it's ability to change the color display (cerci). I did a lot of net searching and this was the BEST one I found. I knew I could count on TARGET to have what I was looking for. see less
