Based on decent reviews, I selected these monitors after being dissatisfied with a different set. The parent's monitor can be plugged in or mobile, and the rechargeable batteries seem to last nearly a full day when it is not plugged in. With the sensitivity turned on max, I can hear my 4lb preemie breathing, which brings great comfort. I certainly can hear every fuss and cry as well. I haven't explored all of the features on these monitors such as the night light, vibration, etc, but they are simple to use, and the fact that they are 2-way is a huge bonus. I highly recommend these monitors, especially for the price! see less

We bought this after our second child to replace a basic, inexpensive baby monitor. We've had this monitor for two weeks, and have been pleased with the sound quality, lack of interference, and battery life. We especially like the talk-back feature to communicate with our older child at night since the children share a room. see less

I love being able to see my daughter is up or is able to get herself back to sleep. She wakes up all night long & it is nice for mommy to be able to view her without having to get out of bed. We keep the volume on the lowest setting since she does so many random yells & talking in her sleep. see less

I was skeptical when my husband picked out an expensive video baby monitor but now I can't imagine NOT having one. It has made "sleep training" so much easier, both teaching baby to soothe herself and teaching us to let her be! The night vision, intercom, being able to move the camera remotely, and the thermometer features, are all great. We never use the music option except to annoy each other. One thing I wish it had? A digital clock... would that be so hard to add? Would be really helpful when checking it in the middle of the night. see less

I am a worry wart, I felt a regular monitor was not enough. I researched plenty full to drive my husband insane. We were on a budget but I broke it for the safety of my LO. I feel assured that I can see her, with no disruption, fast paced movement with no delay, no interruption over wifi, and temperature reader. I love that it has night vision, and you could also adjust the level of sound, picture quality, and best of all that you can speak to your LO if they cry. No more worry wart here. I love that I can see her breathing even with night vision, and hear her. Best money spent. see less

We really like this baby monitor. Our only complaint is that the battery doesn't last more than a few hours without needing to be recharged, however, keeping them plugged in is not that bad since it comes with two parent monitors. We are able to keep one in our bedroom and one in the living room. We have an 1800 square foot house and the monitors work great throughout the entire house, including the garage and backyard. The sound is very clear and also has a sensitivity level that can be adjusted. There is also a feature that allows you talk to the baby from the parent monitors. We highly recommend these monitors. see less

We had a graco monitor with temperature, which we loved when our son was an infant. The cord broke and we looked for a different monitor. The Vtech is fantastic, now that our son is 18 months old we are not as concerned with the temperature in his room. Plus having the 2 parent units is great, only had one with the Graco. Overall I would recommend this as 1st time parents or as a replacement. No white noise at all. Great range in a 2300 sq ft house with the master bedroom on the opposite side of the house as the childs room. see less

When I bought this camera I immediately took it home and tried it out. Directions say to fully charge the battery 16 hours, I only charged it for 4. The battery lasted over 6 hours! The camera is not too clear from a distance so best to mount it on the wall abound the crib. Great range, easy to work, light weight and the camera has a good range of motion. The only negative about this specific camera system is it has the ability to have multiple cameras but I have not been able to find an extra camera for sale. Other than that this is a great deal for the price. Highly recommend for a budget shopper see less

After taking the monitor out of the box, it was super easy to set up. We quickly read the instructions and installed the camera. It was up and running in no time! We have had no issues with static or any other kind of interruptions. The night vision works really well and has come in super useful to see what is going on in the room after lights out. I would definitely recommend this monitor. It is a little pricey but well worth it! see less

Pros... Large picture, especially for the price range. Visual aid for sound intensity is on the screen, great for when you're in the shower or have it muted. Mute option. Temperature as well as setting for alarm if temp goes out of specified range, lullaby option Cons...Wish it had a clock, then it would be absolutely complete! My favorite unexpected perk of purchasing this monitor is being able to see my well rested baby has woken with out a cry, and going to get him before he's pushed to the point of crying out for help, thus encouraging him to be comfortable and happy in his space. see less

We've had ours for 9 months and it works great. The picture & sound quality is great day & night. It's so much better than tip toeing in my sons room to check on him & end up waking him up. It gives us a piece of mind knowing we can see that he is fine. It also has great range. We can take the monitor anywhere in the house or outside & still have a good connection. I don't know what people are expecting from this monitor. High quality HD video is not a feature of this or any baby monitor that I'm aware of. I think the picture quality is quite good day and night, and suits my needs perfectly. Sound is good, vibrate works well too. For these and the extra features, like the ability to communicate to your baby from the parent unit, the built in thermometer which is fairly accurate, and built in lullabies, I think it could be sold for much more. Plus the range is great, to test it out, I went outside about 4 houses down the street and still had perfect reception with 3 bars full signal. I haven't once been out of range or lost signal. I've used it every night for about 3 weeks and am really hoping it continues to work this well. So far, it's been one of the best baby item purchases I've made! see less

We've been using these monitors for about 4 months and they are great! The vibrate feature is nice, it lets you know when your little one is really moving around versus just rustling in her sleep. Another nice feature is that the monitor that goes in the baby's room plugs into the wall but can also take batteries. see less

I purchased this monitor before our baby was born. He's 6 weeks old now and I have used it since he was four days old. Being a first time mom I loved being able to be in bed and look at him without disturbing him. The camera quality is great. Even the night vision I'm impressed with. Love the pan and zoom features. Worth the extra money versus the lower model that doesn't have those options. I haven't used the lullaby or talk feature very much but may use it once he's a little older. The green to red light bar on the top of the monitor is nice. I've had "dreams" where I think I heard him cry but it was my imagination. I can open my eyes and check to see if the lights are flashing instead of turning on the video part of the monitor. The downside to this monitor is that the screen is bright at night. It will light up your room a bit when you turn it on. I always have the screen off unless I need to check on him. see less

I bought this monitor after looking at many reviews and although it is a little pricey it's worth the money. I absolutely love the size of the screen and the fact that the picture is very clear and the night vision is a great feature. The ability to pan/zoom and tilt the camera is great because you don't have to put it in a specific spot to see everything that is going on. The only down size is the fact that it doesn't have the ability for you to have it "activate" only on sound when your baby moves or wakes up and there is a constant white noise. If you have the volume button all the way down I wasn't able to hear the white noise even with it right next to me on the nightstand. It still isn't that big of a deal because there are more positive things about this monitor than negative. I also love the fact that you can talk to your baby when they are in the room and you can even play music. I would recommend this to any new mom or any mom who has multiple kids in one room. see less

I purchased this monitor because I didn't want to spend a fortune but wanted a digital monitor to avoid phone interference. This monitor works great! I had read reviews about the inconsistent battery life so I made sure to charge the batteries for a full 24 hours before we used it. I have had no problems with the battery life or with hearing my daughter when she just first starts to wimpier. Definitely a good buy for the price! see less

I read SO many reviews on SO many monitors. I did not want to spend more than [$]. I had previously bought a cheap monitor that was Garbage and decided to spend a little more. I had narrowed down my choices, due to good reviews online, neither of which was this monitor. After asking my closest girlfriends, this monitor came HIGHLY recommended, so despite the average good and bad reviews I ordered it. When it arrived I immediately opened it, plugged it in, & turned it on. You know what I heard?? Nothing!! Completly silent! No static! No interference! We had our 10yr old do a couple fake cries from nursery and it was perfect! So glad I took the advise of friends! Very, very happy with this purchase!!! see less

Git it couple of days ago and got it to work fast. The setup was simple, but I did get this reay mode message and video kep timing out. Called tech support and they did something with the router and now it connects fast and I don't see the relay message anymore. for [$] not a bad product. see less

I have to say the instructions in the package are terrible but lucky for me my husband is good with anything electronics. He was able to use the wps feature and got the camera working quickly however after setting it up we were disappointed with all the static we were picking up. The video quality was great as well as for the audio except for the static and the mobile app was easy to use however for some odd reason the image would go off after about 10 min of live streaming and in order to fix that I would just have to refresh the camera on the app annoying. Overall the product is good but not great. If the static issue was fixed and the way you receive a notification if your child is moving or crying was better I would definitely be a buyer. Sad to say but for [$] I am going to have to return this product ASAP. see less

The instructions that came with this camera was basic. Go to the website and download the pdf file. My router doesn't have a WPS button so that my wifi recognizes the camera. All you have to do is connect the ethernet cable provided temporarily and go to network, select your wifi, enter password and then disconnect the cable. After connection has been established, you will unplug your ac cable and move to another location. This takes a little time to reconnect to wifi. I downloaded the app to my Android app and it works fine if I didn't use wifi, just through the network. One more thing, there is a 3 second delay on the video. Not bad. see less

I did a lot of research before buying and have been very happy with this particular monitor buy Avent. It is crystal clear audio with no static or interference with other electronics.. The monitor covers the long range I needed to cover the distance between the nursery and our room. Also love that the monitor shows the temperature in the nursery. see less

The Ibaby is a good wireless IP camera with great features, but it is essentially just another overpriced Foscam IP camera clone. Although it does what it advertises, it does so for more than double the price of its competitors with a lack of technical support and less features. Check out whats out there before overpaying for an Ibaby. I highly recommend either Foscam or Agasio. see less

Using multiple iphones for monitors is convenient. App sends Push notifications for alerts but alert levels for individual iphones cant be set so you get constant notifications while you are away, even if you kill app. Since it's wifi connected, I was hoping there was the ability for remote viewing but your iphone has to be on the wifi network for viewing. Snapshot feature is ok, wish there was a video recording option. The external two-way audio feature is inconvenient and doesn't work. Vertical range of motion is limited. Camera cannot tilt but a couple of degrees below horizontal. It has to be propped up to see down into crib but the round, irregular base makes it impossible to stabilize. I finally had to mount it on a photo tripod to get the angle I needed. Wish there was a zoom feature. The only functional pro is that we have multiple iphones and don't have to purchase additional 100 dollar monitors. Outside of that, there are better devices on the market. see less

I purchased this camera because I liked the idea of being able to check on my little one using my Iphone. In theory this is great. In actually this system does not work well at all. The setup was complicated and the instructions where not much help. I was not able to use my 3G phone it would only work with WIFI. Also, when I tried to use the alarms it appears the app must be on for it to even work. Its impractical to have the app on at all times. The alarms should alery you automatically on your phone at any time. I will wait until the technology gets better and just purchase a regular baby monitor! see less

This purchase was well worth it. There are two adapters, so if you only use it for night time, you do not even have to worry about battery power, but I have had it off the charger for about two days now just to see how long it would last, and it's still pretty well charged. There is absolutely no static because of the way the monitors link to each other. We have had them now for three weeks and have found absolutely no problems with the product. see less

this monitor started out just fine. decent sound quality, a little loud when it would cut on, but it's supposed to get your attention, right? it was a little frustrating that there is no way to link the parent unit to the baby unit except by unplugging/turning off and then turning back on again. i guess the unit was designed to link automatically...unfortunately it randomly unpairs, and then beeps annoyingly, even if the sound is off, until you re-pair it. over time, it started working less and less well. for example, if the sleep sheep was turned on, it would randomly cut in and out, despite the fact that there was constant noise feeding into the baby unit. ultimately, the pairing issue is what did this monitor in. i think something went wrong in the baby unit, because the parent unit suddenly refused to link...and then it just beeped and beeped til we finally took the batteries out. see less

I can hear when my baby is crying and also check his room temperature from the handset. The quality of the product is very good compared to similar cameras on the market. Although it is not cheap, you get what you pay for as this monitor is a lifesaver.
