I brought this to display pictures to hang in my dorm room it works great. Very simple, yet elegant. The memo board can just about hold anything, pictures cards, folders ..etc. This memo board allows you to be more creative than traditional picture frames.
I love French Memo Boards and I was very excited to find one with a Damask pattern. Just be aware that French Memo Boards are not cork boards and not as large as you would expect.
This one was very easy to hang - you can hang it vertically or horizontally very easily due to the placement of hooks on the back of the board. If I remember correctly, it also included studs/screws.
Also note that this is definitely a cream color and black Damask pattern - not a pure white and black pattern like some people look for.
this board is so pretty and adds just the right amount of "something" to my relatively boring home office/desk. my desk is brown and accessories are black and this just brightens everything up! I am actually considering getting the matching desk lamp. the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I though it was also a pin/tack board put there is no cushioning to push a pin thru. however- the ribbons hold paper nicely and now seeing how beautiful it is I would have purchased it anyway. looks like a much more expensive piece from a boutique- great price and quality
I bought this for my mom who lives in assisted living and I really like it! I love the fabric, the color and the print. I looked at many french memo boards before I settled on this one and I like it because it's pretty and the print isn't too distracting-not too busy. Good price I thought.
I purchased these cork boards for my office and I love them. You can place them in any direction on the wall. My co-workers liked them so well, we all have a set in our office. Don't forget the cute push pins at Target to go with the boards.
I purchased these to pin my running bib numbers to. First, they are VERY thin and cheap, one corner broke off! they are thinner than a regular push pin so your push pins will stick out.
The DO NOT stick. The sticky squares they come with are not enough - it even says on the package 6 sticky squares at least are needed for each cork square... too bad only 16 are included in the pack - enough for FOUR per square.
I hung these and took extra precaution, alcohol swabbed the area first, let it dry, then stuck them up, let them stick for an hour, THEN attached my bibs to them. it was a compete DISASTER, as i write this another one just fell off the wall!
I threw away the packaging already, otherwise i would have marched these right back to the store. what a waste!
