Bought this for my son who really wants to box but isn't ready for a heavy bag yet. It is a great compromise between the mini-heavy bags which are still too big and expensive and the air-filled balloon type punching bags which are really just toys. He can practice his form and coordination and he really has fun, too.
my seven year old princess loves this set. I enjoy playing with it too. make sure your kids wear gloves when playing with the bag. Iwas punching the bag without gloves and cut my nuckle and daughter was upset and took a pencil in punched a hole in the bag, so I really don't know how durable it is, but I enjoyed it enough to purchase her another set for us to play with.
This is made out of a very heavy vinyl and could stand a brutal beating from a young kid. I got this for my son for Christmas. The only thing was, as soon as it was filled up with sand and air, it started to deflate. It seems to have a leak on the seam. He has not had the change to play with it yet! But we will either fix it or exchange it and I hope we don't have the same issue as this is really the best one I have found.

Fun but cheaply made - broke within 24 hours by a 4 yr old
We put water in the base and blew him up on Christmas night. He scared our dogs and us because he looks like someone standing there, but he doesn't seem to stay upright. It's like he slowly loses air. When you start hitting him he leans and doesn't bounce back. He's provided entertainment, as we've named him and he's now standing in my living room, but I don't think he's going to be very good as a punching man. [...]
