Just got this set 2 hours ago ,set up was guick ,picture very sharp but like the 1st reveiew if you push the sound past medium it overloads the speakers so I will spend [$] for amplified pc speakers and feed it off the phone jack on the back of the set . For the price its really not all that bad as I bought a [brand] for [$] at Target and 2 weeks prior I bought an [brand] set that is a very good set and pc monitor so that is why I bought this one .Same set as at [retailer] is [$] their price . So we will see how it goes ! see less

I purchased this tv around February or March 2012 for my bedroom. This is my first flat screen tv. I am pleased with the picture quality. However, the sound quality is VERY poor. I usually have to turn up the volume when watching movies to hear the people better, but this causes the sound to become very distorted, fuzzy sounding. By turning up the volume does not allow me to hear better it just makes it worst to me. The price, [$], was good for the tv I just wish the sound was better. see less

I purchased this TV for my bedroom. I had a old SD Orion TV in there for several years and finally decided to get rid of it and upgrade to an HDTV. This TV was very easy to set up, all I did was take it ou thte box, attach the base, the plug and cable wires and in no time the TV was ready for viewing. I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone. For my bedroom the sound is fine, however if I was using it for a my living room I would definitely suggest getting a sound bar and an even bigger for e.g. screen 46 and up TV. I have noticed the difference with commercial quality that are not broadcast in HD and instead are in SD, HD is the way to go, love it, love it, love it. I did not need any HDMI wires to be able to watch HD quality programming. There is not gaming that will be played on this TV so I do not think I will need to HDMI cords. I have had this TV for little over 2 weeks now and I have not had any issues. I will update late if there are any changes, but so far, so food. see less

This TV has very high ratings. It has been great so far! I had been pricing this TV with Walmart, who gave me the run around in several different stores ...how they could not match online prices, it was "in stock" but not on the floor...so they were not sure if they could sell it, etc. Their electronics department was sarcastic, rude, and could not answer my questions about the TV. I went to the nearest Target...after several Walmart stops...and I found the TV for the price I wanted, and I was in and out of the store in 20 minutes. I will go to Target for electronics in the future. I wasted a week when I could have purchased the TV at Target in 20 minutes. see less

I tried to save some money by getting the [brand] for [$]. Huge mistake. Took it back immediately to get a [brand] for [$]. Found Target selling this Samsung for only [$] and jumped on it. Best move I could have made. This TV is sooooo much better I can't believe I wasted my time and gas trying to save a few bucks. Get this one, you won't be disappointed. see less

I don't know what TV some people are reviewing, but it isn't this one. I just looked at mine and it has two audio output jacks plus an ex-link. This is a great second TV. Not too happy with connections on the side, but otherwise no complaints. see less

I use this t.v. for my xbox 360 using and HDMI cable. The quality is amazing! The sound is very good! I watch movies being streamed from Netflix and when being streamed in HD it is perfect! You get your money's worth! Don't listen to the bad reviews! All my friends and I all have this t.v. for gaming because it's cheap and great for what it is! It really brings out the detail in the games I play. Especially Battlefield 3. This is a must buy if you are a gamer! Good size screen, resolution, etc. Also worked well with my Sony Blue-ray player. I received this TV as a Christmas gift. It was a little bit of pain having to call the manufacturer for a code but after I got the code it was easy sailing. I put this TV in the bedroom without a cable box and instead of getting the standard 60 channels the cable guy I said I would get without a box this tv picked up all 300 channels. This Apex is awesome and so impressively clear. The sound is great. All around I think this is a great TV. I was so impressed with the TV I looked at the box to see if it was some kind of an upgraded model. see less

Quality is excellent especially if you have hd programming. Its works great with xbox 360 games. I gave the sound a 3star because its really hollow but tolerable. If you invest in a nice sound bar you will have an excellent sounding television. see less

We bought this TV a year ago for our bedroom. It's definitely worth every penny we spent. We have it connected to an old laptop and a Roku because we don't have cable. The speakers have a little bit of feedback, but it's only noticeable when nothing is playing. Picture quality is decent and we haven't had any problems yet. I just wish it had wifi! see less

I just bought this TV and I ABSOLUTLY love it. I have a 47" LCD Vizio in the family room and compared the two the I have no regret buying this one. The picture is clear, but compared to my Vizio its not as crisp, but it has a great picture. The sound is great as well. I found this TV to be the easiest TV to set up. This TV is great for the price. The LED picture is wonderful. It was very easy to set up and the easy of use with the features are awesome. The only reason I did not give it five stars is I have not found a clock or an alarm on the TV. I use this TV in my bedroom and enjoyed using the alarm on my old tv. I have only had this tv for a little over 2 weeks so I cannot comment on its quality long term, but so far I am happy I did not purchase a tv from a more expensive brand. If this tv fits your budget buy it you will be happy you did! I purchased this from Target.com and I received it in 6 days. Very happy with the service as well. see less

I bought this TV a few months ago and it's been great! 3 HDMI inputs is my favorite feature, with the third being on the side of the unit for quick plug-in/plug-out action. I have a little hook-up for my iphone and I plug-it into that HDMI input on the side and voila! Iphone vids on my TV. That was impressive, but not really a testament to the TV apart from it having an easily accessible HDMI input. Lots of options to adjust the picture though, which I think is essential to a tv, adjusting the picture to your own liking. I have sucky eyes and sometimes these crazy good TVs are too sharp and bright, so I like dialing it down a bit, and i'm happy with this TV. Thanks! see less

I've had the TV for a few weeks now and I really love it, easy interface, nice look, nice sound, good picture quality. I've also had the problem with the TV turning itself off, I thought it may have just been me, but it's happened once or twice. No biggie though, I just turned it back on. [...] I CLEARLY see the numbers 720 in the item description. Anyway I don't see the difference in a 720 p television and a 1080p one. Iblove the picture clarity on my Element 720p television. Also in my home is a Sony that has 1080 & to me the picture looks the same. All in all I fond this to be a great Tv at an awesome price! see less

I was excited to get this TV after taking a look at what it has to offer. Once the package came, I saw in big letters on the box 720p, not 1080P. I thought I was buying a great TV at a great price, but only found out that the website is incorrect. Also, alothough Element is working with JBL on many TVs, this one has not proof. JBL is not mentioned anywhere in the owners manuel for this model see less

I don't know if the other folks just got "lemons", but I love this TV and it has an amazing picture, the sound is fine for my needs. You can always add a sound bar for 50-60 bucks if you want, but you don't need to. I think it's a great TV! see less

Everything works great. Easy setup. Stand seems fairly sturdy. Picture and sound great. For safety instead of a wire connecting it to the wall it has two screw holes in the base to screw into your TV stand - screws included. Remote seems fine. When I was ready to buy a TV I was worried I might make a bad choice. Seems like I made a good one. This also happened to be the cheapest of the brands I was considering. Very satisfied. see less
