Bought just before Xmas, 6 sets put on outdoor fence and at least 4 of the sets only 1/2 of the lights are still working. Thought they were a good value , however if they were free they would not be a good value because you still have to take them down. Would not buy. see less

We have a ranch, with an area where we host lots of gatherings, and are always on the lookout for affordable, durable, energy efficient lighting to hang in trees, etc. I think we've found it in these! They put out a decent light, while not being too bright/harsh. We've used a lot of twinkle style lights, which we like as well. These seem to cast a bit more light for folks walking around, and wanting to see their way. They seem durable, use little energy, can plug MANY strings together, and bulbs are rated to last 25,000 hours, so should last a LONG time! We ordered 6 sets to start with, and I'm ordering 8 more. I'll let you know if they perform as expected. So far, so good! see less

Significant Other packs holidays items like a disinterested box boy at a market yet ours survived this from last year.I have mixed rice lights, standard miniatures and these on our tree and I like the effect. I found the clear ones way too brash of a light, and would think that it would be the same outdoors, though I have not tried this. The frosted globes really are somewhat different and pleasant light. I had no problem with breakage, but I have had three burn out by this years decorating. Replacement bulbs are a real hunt. It is a 7 watt Candelabra base, the same base as the C7, like the older standard lights one used on a tree. It is an unusual light, which is what drew me to them, and with this you have to hunt for replacements like this. see less

I decided to give these a try because they are such a good buy. I followed the advice of others and took all the bulbs out BEFORE hanging them. Then I went back and put the bulbs in and I had zero problems. I went back and bought two more strands and hung them also with no issues. These lights look really good and are an amazing value. If I could add another star for the value I would cause similar products cost like 3x more per strand. I would not hesitate to buy these again. Just take the bulbs out before hanging and you'll have no problems. see less

I hung up 8 boxes of these lights, 200 bulbs, without breaking one bulb. All you have to do is unscrew the bulbs before removing wiring from packaging, hang up wire string, and screw bulbs on later. Lights looks awesome and 160 feet of globe lights for 120 dollars, can't beat that price. Great purchase! see less

Love this product... only issue is I had purchased them to add to existing bulbs purchased in store, and didn't realize that what I previously had were the 'warm white' led faceted sphere bulbs - and the new ones I purchased are a 'cool white' bulb. Therefore I have a mix of yellow tinted bulbs, and blue-tinted bulbs. I have went ahead and purchased more of the cool white bulbs to switch out w/ my previous sets, which I have no idea what I'm gonna do w/, as the cool white are much 'cleaner' and brighter looking. see less

I honestly don't know why people are complaining about the difficulty of putting these lights up. I used no tools and it took me half the time everyone else says it took them. EASY install. The quality is great. Has a built in fuse, they give you spares. My set is going through this weekends rain storm and I have not lost a bulb yet. I left it plugged in just to see if the fuse would blow. Great set of lights. If you go to the other large store they are about [$]. Same lights in a different box, do yourself a favor and buy these. see less

I found that the provided zip ties worked for my umbrella they just took some time to lock into place. The clips that attach the ligths seemed to be the biggest pain to get closed correctly and this accounted for much of the installation time. I have a 9ft. market umbrella and it only has 6 ribs so I put 2 sets of lights one on each side of the middle ribs. Installation took a lot of time and patients but I am very pleased with the end results. The lights look fantastic and create a great atmosphere. see less
