This may seem backwards, but i actually was looking for a humidifier with a hum to it. This does have a hum to it and acts as white noise for my son. We have a really small house, so the hum helps block out noises that we may be making during his naps and at night. I wont buy a humidifier that claims it makes zero noise. But thats just me, and how my son sleeps the best see less

I have yet to have a problem with this product. I have had this humidifier for 6 years and I have not experienced any leaking or mold issues. I use the KAZ water additives that are sold next to the product to avoid any mold or mildew issues. With any humidifier, an additive should be used to avoid mold and mineral deposits. I think this product is great and has lasted me quite a while. see less

I bought this product for its look and price. My daughter (4) had been having a cough for a while and was recommended a humidifier. Since then, there is very little coughing at night and its only been about 2 weeks. I leave it on low and love that the white noise keeps her asleep. I fill it up every 2-3 days. Yes, the high setting is a bit loud, so not recommended for those with "sensitive ears." I will be purchasing another one for our newbon. see less

My husband and I both have allergies and asthma, so a warm humidifier is very necessary! We had a simpler and cheaper Vicks brand humidifier that died too soon and bought this "upgrade" as a replacement. We loved it, then moved and couldn't find it, so we bought the same one. The first was found and we have been using both for 1.5 years with no leaks or any issues. No need to spend double the cost for other brands. I'm getting a 3rd one of these for baby's room. see less

I've had this unit for my kids for over 4yrs now. We've left it on with no water before and it seems to have a auto shut off. Still works well after the fact. We put it in a 12x12 bedroom and near bedside. Since you can slightly hear the water misting out "when it's dead silent & your trying to sleep" I just turn it on after my kid has fallen asleep. Now, you will have to clean it every now and again. It will get crusty particles on it from the calcium. Overall, as a mother of 2 kids, I'd say it's served us very well so far and would definitely recommend this unit. see less

This is not my first cool mist humidifier. I like this one more than ones I have had in the past. As with all humidifiers, you must adjust the degree of humidity needed for your room size and temp of house. Otherwise too much/not enough moisture issues can arise, leaving you with a wet floor or dry nose. When properly set and cleaned regularly, this little humidifier works well. Runs very quietly, almost silently, and has a small glow that my 2 yr old daughter does not find disturbing- she does not even like a nightlight on generally. She also likes the pink color. It is also easy to fill and easy to clean. see less

Greet to see the SinuPulse now available at Target. I have been irrigating for over 4 years. I started out with a neti pot which was fine for what I paid about $10.00. Like everyone knows they are messy and only mildly effective. Once I moved up to the SinuPulse I was able to finally see long term improvement and a noticeable difference in the frequency of allergy attacks and even incidents of colds and the flu went way down too. After searching for a humidifier on the internet, we finially found one, for our Mother. She is 97 years old so we needed one with a top fill, no replacable filter, quiet, and affordable. This was on my Target.com, so we ordered it, and it is doing a great job. I would definitely recommend it. I bought one of these for my son's room because he has frequent bloody noses from the dry air in the winter. It has been wonderful. It's easy to fill. He keeps it filled without any coaxing and it has performed flawlessly for the past month and half. I liked the water trickling sound so much that I bought one for my bedroom. I am not disappointed. It's quiet, pleasant and the trickle sound is soothing white noise. It enhances sleep and I haven't found it noisy when it is out of water. It has a very soft pale blue light on the unit so you don't trip over it if you get up in the night. I like it dark when I sleep and haven't found the light anything but helpful.
