It was easy to put together & I had to call Suncast because I had a problem getting the lid to close, they identified that the lid was warped & sent me out a new lid with no charge at all to me! Put this together in less than 10 minutes. Surprisingly sturdy considering the less than thick panels. However they have molded crosshatched construction on the inside of the panels which give them strength. I would have liked a locking feature but can't really complain because of the low price. I am using this on my back patio to store my Yamaha 2400is generator along with several10 gauge extension cords. And there is still room left over for accessories like oil and funnels. Best of all is that is doubles as an extra seat on the patio for guests. I may get a couple of cushions to put on top. Target shipped it for free and it was about the cheapest price on the internet.Best [$] I ever spent. Very happy with this purchase! see less

I'd looked all over the internet and in stores for a truly "white" deck storage box that wouldn't break the bank.Found it. Here. And today it arrived and when I opened it I saw the instructions that said 5 minutes to put together. Well...I'm 66 and after dragging it outside I figured I'd already done my 5 minutes.Just kidding.The instructions are easy and quick. It's important to follow them to the letter and that way the top will completely close and keep out the elements.I was beyond thrilled and Found there was room for my croquet set and all the outdoor cushions.Nice and sturdy and good looking, too. My neighbor called out just as I was going inside and said, "Hey! Great looking storage box! Where'd you get it?" That's all it took and I imagine he'll buy one next. The box is wonderful, the price is fabulous, and I couldn't be happier. You know, this could be used inside for storage as well. It would make a terrific toy box for some lucky child, but this one is mine, all mine. see less

I purchased two of these deck boxes for my patio - one for storing seat cushions, and another for other outdoor stuff. They arrived flat-packed in huge boxes. Very easy to put together on my own in about 5 mins each, with no tools required. Neutral color blends in well. Storage is roomy with plenty of space for 8 dining seat cushions, and doubles as a handy extra bench - looks great with a few pillows on top. One of the lids had a small crack at the back, but not serious enough to warrant returning or replacing. Overall I'm really happy with them, compared to other more expensive options. see less

I purchased a Suncast box and had a problem with the lid not fitting properly....Specifically, the hinges on the lid itself were bent outwards, so the lid wouldn't snap into place properly with its counterpart on the box.To Suncast's credit, they supplied me with a new lid--and it works great........... see less

The deck box was more than I really expected for a low price. I had visited many sites and this site gave a really good discription of what I was interested in plus there was no shipping or handling charges. The item was sent and arrived when they said it would. One suggestion on the assembly of the box. Remove all of the pieces and lay them on a warm, flat surface before assembling it. Some of the pieces were a little out of flat but when warmed up there was no problem. The lid takes a little extra umph to get it right. I think my 285 pounds on it was all it needed. I had my doubts, but a year ago I purchased this Suncast storage chest to have a place to keep my deck chairs, chair cushions and other miscellaneous items out of sight and protected from the weather. My husband and I put it together in about 20 minutes. We were a little frustrated trying to attach the lid. It would have gone quicker had we not been too gentle trying to attach the lid. My daughter hopped into the lid and it instantly snapped together. Both my husband and I (our combined weight is approximately 400 pounds) sat on the chest at the same time----surprisingly it's extremely strong. In addition to using it for storage, it serves well for extra seating. It has wheels on the bottom so it can be moved easily. We store many items in it throughout the year. We even left it out over the winter. Everything stays clean and dry. I highly recommend this chest for it's great functionality. You can't beat the price! We plan on purchasing a second one to use for storing pool supplies and toys next summer. see less

This is a nice planter as it sits on top of the deck rail and is easy to install. The wire basket isn't the most exciting thing to look at, but much nicer than the usual flimsy terracotta colored plastic window boxes that one finds on the market if you don't want to spend hundreds of dollars for the resin ones. I was not sure about the coco liner, since I had never used one before, but it really does help retain water and the plants are thriving. All in all, a good deal for the price. see less
