I love this comforter! Great colors and it is just bright enough without being overbearing. It is reversible so it has the option to be vibrant or calm. The material is actually very silky smooth as well. It is light enough to not get too hot, but just enough to keep you plenty warm. I always get compliments on it. Unfortunately my twin 4 year olds jumped on the bed one too many times and riped the seams. If I had older kid or kids who didn't jump on the bed I'd buy this in a heartbeat!!!! see less

It is EXTREMELY difficult to find a king size comforter at this price point - which is why I ordered a second one to keep on ice. This is really worth the money. I bought this back in August 2012. It cleans great, no stains, and no rips. I was worried that the pleats would come undone, still looks new!! I bought the beige color. I wanted white but white is going to get dirty no matter what you do. The beige looks almost gold, I love it. It is incredably comfortable!!! I reccomend this product to anyone who is looking for a new bed spread!! see less

I bought this comforter, queen size, about 2.5 years ago to use with a duvet cover. It's light and fluffy and not too warm like a down-filled comforter. It's the prefect weight for spring, summer, & fall. I add a down blanket to our bed in the winter. After all this time and numerous washings, I'm still just as happy with it as the day I bought it. In fact, I love it so much that I just ordered it in the king size for our new bed. If you are using it as a duvet insert, the value is absolutely unbeatable! see less

I live in Maine where the winters are brutal. We joke that we have a week of spring, two weeks of summer, one week of Fall and the other 11 months winter. When I opened the blanket, I felt anxious at how light the blanket felt. Not wanting to get too discouraged, I tried it our with a linen duvet. Do not let the thickness fool you! In the past we have had to sleep with a quilt on top of the comforter, but not anymore. Lightweight but WARM. I freeze and my husband is a heater so it's hard to find something for the both of us. This blanket adjusted to each of our temperatures and we slept amazingly well. I forsee that this blanket will work during the summer months when we have the AC going as well as the rest of the year. Though I bought this on sale, I would totally buy it even if it's not. So sorry I waited so long with this on my wish loist and so happy I finally bought it! see less

I have had this comforter for 6 months now and I love it! It has held up great through multiple washes, at least 3 times a month. I live in Texas so it has been a blessing for the "winter nights" and the chilly summer nights. The construction has held up so well. There has been no bunching, loose strings, or shifting. On the 4 corners of the comforter there are places to attach the duvet from the inside, so that it does not move. I bought the full - queen comforter and it fit the queen duvet better. It did fit the full duvet but it was tight. I love my comforter so much that I ended up buying a comforter for all 3 beds in my home. I completely recommend this comforter! see less

My advice - read ALL the reviews for all the items in this collection - the comforter, the quilt/bedspread, etc. A little color variation can be expected when ordering online. This is nowhere near the photo. I wish I could upload a photo in my review to show the difference - a friend who loved my purchase also at the time was shocked to see the difference in person. I ordered the duvet because it looked colorful yet sophisticated. What I got was a duvet that, in my opinion, was really made only for a teenager's room. You'll find magenta, BRIGHT orange, and a light turquoise in this piece, not a deep red, darker orange, and robin's egg blue. This is what the other reviewers are referring to when they say the colors were much more "vibrant" than the photo. For some people those colors obviously worked - but for me I wanted what I saw in the photo, so this is a total miss. And a return. see less

I bought this comforter for my dorm room. It is a really nice comforter, very soft and cozy!! It is definitely great for a dorm room, all my friends were jealous because it was more of a 'real' bed comforter then what they had. I love the floral detail. I love the yellow on the flip side. The color is not white and black its more of a pale grey and black which I love. The pillow shams are definitely white though. I just redecorated my room and this comforter just pulled everything together for me. see less

As soon as I seen this on the website, I wanted it. The white, black lace detail, and the yellow combo look great together. You do have to purchase the sheets so I just purchased the blue sheets that are pictured. The comforter is comfortable not rough feeling, which I was hoping it wouldn't be. The 2 pillow shams do come with it. I'm happy overall with this set. This is an easy comforter set to mix and match accessories. Another thing, Target is amazing with their shipping! see less

I have read all the negative reviews about this comforter which I bought over a year ago. Mine was not sold in a "package" with the shams, as it is now in stores. I have washed mine bi weekly in a front load machine .king size, mind you, and it never shifted or had issue with the batting inside. The comforter is "tacked" to prevent the filling from shifting during washes. I have a dog which lays on my bed, so I wash it every 2 weeks. It's fading and becoming more shabby chic if anything. I am not sure if the manufacturing process has changed to make this not as high quality as when I bought it over a year ago. Still, the softest and prettiest for the money I have ever ran across to date! see less

I bought this comforter for my daughter's twin sized bed, and it's lovely. The colors are very elegant. I recommend the Threshold Performance Sheet set in Mint Ash--it matches the underside of the comforter very well. I also got the Dark Gray sheet set which doesn't match perfectly, but goes nicely for a darker look. And the twin size comforter is quite ample for a regular sized twin bed. see less

I was worried about purchashing this item because of some confusion over the colors, but I took a chance because I have been looking for a set with a bird motif. I was happy to see that the colors were exactly what I expected -- a dark blackish-blue with the design in white and light greyish-aqua. Because of how dark it is and because cotton fades, I intend to treat it with a color fixative during the first washing. Apart from color, the weaving seems to be very tight, and the batting in the comforter feels like a light to medium weight. It is 100 percent cotton fabric with 100 percent polyester fill, as stated in the description. Overall, I'm very pleased with this set. see less

The sheets fits the twin bed really well. The comforter could be thicker, but that doesn't bother me because both of my boys sleep with a hand made blanket from their grandmother too. Looks nice. I get really hot at night, so this is great for me. It provides some warmth, but very lightweight.I was very happy with how smooth it is, but as NYCmomoftwogirls said, there is practically no comforter. I would suggest using a warm sheet. I really love it, it made my room look wonderful!! I always buy from xhilaration and would get it again. I picked a really nice microfiber green sheet with my bed and it coordinates perfectly! And no, I do not have a country accent, Louisville is completely different from the rest of KY see less

I bought this for my 2yr old daughter and absolutely love it! It is soft and the colors are nice and bright, it looks great with her hot pink headboard and teal walls. The comforter is heavy enough for winter and light enough for summer. It is a very soft material and I can't say how it will wash but will try to come back and edit after I wash it for the first time. Overall I am so pleased with this as well as Target customer service! I paid full price, not such a good value seeing as sheets have to be purchased separately, but it went on sale the next week and since it was within 10 days I was able to get a price adjustment and the CSR that helped me was very friendly. I think this is great for any age girl from toddler to college age. see less

My husband and I just ordered a new bedroom suite and I decided we needed a new comforter set to go with it. I ran across this one at my local Target store. It did not knock my socks off, but they had the size I needed, the price was right and the design was different. When I got home, I put the comforter on the bed and it was ok, but then I put the rest of the set on the bed and it really pulled everything together....it was beautiful. I also have copper colored curtains, which are from Target too and now on clearance, that have enbroidered flowers on them that look like they could have come with the comforter set, so that is a big plus for me too. This set is so soft and colorful. I got a king and this comforter hangs down the sides generously. I checked all the seams on my set and they are ok....no quality problems with mine at all. I am really glad I purchased this and my husband likes it too. What a great buy. see less

I have to start by saying I'm VERY picky. I have literally been thru 5 different bedding sets in the past 2 months because I could NOT find one I liked....until now. Having small dogs I need something that is durable while remaining attractive and won't snag easily or act like a dog hair magnet. This is exactly what I needed. I saw this in the store and it immediately caught my eye. I decided to take a chance and figured if I didn't love it I could return it. The brown is a deep chocolate, the orange is more of a burnt orange/pumpkin-ish color and the "cream" is actually a tan/khaki. It's GORGEOUS. I have "spicy" colors thru my house so the colors of this match very well. When I first got it home and laid just the comforter out across the bed I still wasn't completely sold, but add all of the other pieces to it and it really is a show stopper.
