We purchased a pair of dr. dre beats, studio for our daughter for christmas, they were to say the least, expensive. I bought sony for our younger son. Spent [$] bucks on the sony, and almost [$] bucks on the dr dre beats. In comparison the sony is an outstanding product for the price. The sound is amazing, doesn't crackle, or sputter, they get loud enough for teenagers, and the ear pieces are comfy. If I had the opportunity to re-purchase the sony, I would, I would also purchase the sony over dre beats, because all your buying is the name. Sound quality is comparable. Only complaint, sony has one attached wire off each ear piece, dr dre beats only have one removable wire on the ear piece. see less

When I seen the price my first thought was okay im just going to but these headphones and the sound wouldnt be loud and it wouldnt cancel out noice because the price was so cheap. But boy was I wrong these headphones are the best not only do the make the music sound better and louder but I also cant hear a word anyone says beside me. I got my first pair of skullcandy headphones about 2 years ago. They were awesome and I used them every single day. They're great on airplanes. The music is always so crystal clear on them. I love them so much! Then after about 9 months, I lost them. So I went to the store the next day just to get another pair of the same ones in pink. I figured I might as well get a new color. By Far the best sounding In ear headphones I've ever experienced. My only complaint with them is the tips of the headphones keep getting lost but luckily I have a lot of friends with extras. They are really comfy and block out a lot of the outside noise! Plus with a lifetime warranty, if they ever do break then you get a new pair for free! Unless its your fault then you still get them for half off! So not a bad deal if you ask me.... see less
