I have been using Norelco shavers since 1980. I have trouble with in-grown hair in my neck. Norelco used to make the black pro razor, and it was fantastic for the ones with in-grown facial hair. I bought this razor 15 days ago, and have not had one in-grown hair since. It normally takes me about 9 minutes to shave. The battery lasted 13 days. WOW. I would HIGHLY RECOMEND this razor. I just wish Norelco would furnish a carry case with this razor, and a battery power indicator. It has a light that comes on when the battery gets down to 5 minutes left, but I would like for it to have a light that shows exactly how much charge is in the battery. see less

every ten years or so i buy and try an electric razor. they never met expectations, UNTIL THIS YEAR. I researched and selected the 830, and had an excellent first dry shave with it (the others over the years failed expectations on day 1). I had a 4 day beard for the first shave, and will continue with a 3 day, 2 day, 1 day, every day. What a pleasure both in the shave and the routine upkeep. FINALLY I can joing the electric shaving world. And as a kidney transplant recipient, my program recommends daily electric shaving over blade shaving for infection control see less

This was a replacement for a Norelco 7885XT shaver. The 7885 had Nicad batteries that didn't last very long. Was then used on the power cord. The 830, shaves great, but miss the travel pouch,(not Included). The charger cord seems a bit long, and is straight not coiled. The pivot head is a plus. Should design battery replacement easy for the customer to do if ever necessary. see less

I've never had a very good experience with electric shavers. While they generally irritate my skin less than a razor, they also tend to leave hairs behind or not get close enough to the skin. I decided to give the PT730 a try, and after a few weeks of use I've been pretty impressed. POSITIVES - Good, close shave without having to make excessive passes with the head - Low irritation - Easy to clean - Battery seems to exceed the quoted 40 minute runtime per charge - Good build quality, doesn't feel voerly cheap - Charge indicator light NEGATIVES - No travel case, minimal accessories - The hinge for the sideburn trimmer feels a little flimsy, but works well So far, I'm pleasantly surprised by what I've gotten for the price. I've spent nearly twice as much on gimmicky wet shavers that underperformed in comparison. I hope the quality holds up over time. I had never used an electric razor before now, because I did not believe It would give me the results I got with a disposable razor. The Powertouch Cordless Razor has changed my views on shaving altogether. The flexible heads make it easy and comfortable to shave on a regular basis. I find myself shaving on a more consistent basis because it is so much quicker and easier. The cleaning of the Powertouch is as simple as running it under water and letting it dry, it really is that easy! I have shaved with it now for over a week and still have not needed to recharge it. The pop-up trimmer is a nice feature for keeping sideburns and goatees trimmed up. Overall, I am extremely happy with the product and do not anticipate having to replace it for a long time. First, this shaver does NOT have Li Ion batteries. It has NiMH. Second, there is NO low battery indicator light. Third, this is NOT a shaver you rinse to clean. All that considered, it is a great buy, however, when the battery finally dies in about 2 to 3 years, the cord will not function. see less

I own both the 4130 rechargable cordless and just purchased the 3130 corded- both razors are excellent especially on the titanium rotary blades. The heads are interchangable and is cheaper than purchacing the replacement head for the 4130. If you don't mind the cord - use it that way- if not just use the 3130 head on the 4130. I use mine daily and the titanium blades last me nearly 3 years. Either way a good product. Highly recomended! see less

This shaver is excellent for its price point. It's inexpensive but it gives an excellent shave. It is made almost completely out of plastic so it may not be super durable in the long run. The trimmer door is plastic, but the business part is metal and is built well. Since the shaver is corded, there are no batteries to go bad so it should last much longer than a cordless shaver in this price range. There appear to be reviews here for two different shavers, the R3130 and the R3150. These are almost the exact same shaver. The only difference is the R3130 has cutting heads that remove individually from the outside, while the R3150 has cutting heads that remove in the traditional fashion. If one reads a review that says a head popped off while shaving, that review is for an R3130. Fortunately the R3130 is discontinued because it was a terrible design and the heads do come off too easily. The R3150 is a better design and does not fall apart during shaving. When I found out the R3150 was a better design, I bought one to replace my R3130. I have included pictures of both to show the difference. see less

I have used all my shaving life an electric shaver and one that looks very much like the Remington R-3130. So when I took this new shaver out the box I found it a pleasant experience because it was actually shaving close, no pulling of hair and very quite. I also noticed that this shaver is ready for the world, because it automatically will adjust to the higher voltage available in many other countries abroad. An improvement that I would suggest is a plug adapter so I can actually plug this unit in wall-sockets in the UK and Europe. However for a day to day unit this shaver is thumbs up. see less

Been shaving for decades. Blade razor, rotary razor dry, blade razor, more blades, more money...etc This razor is unbelievable. I use it wet with Edge gel. Several pleasant surprises. Too quick for words, usually one good pass and done. Cleans easily with hot water soon as I am finished. I cannot believe how close this shaves my beard, as close or CLOSER than my best blades ever did. I have a cleft in my chin and it easily gets every last nub. I've had several Norelcos over the years, none ever compared to this gem. It's worth every penny for the closeness, comfort, and lightning quick shave it gives. see less

I have tried two other electric shavers in past and am very hard get pleased. I used this shaver for a month and now i can surely tell it deserves all the starts what i given to it. It really satisfies all what a user would want out of it's Shaver. With other electric shaver i had a bad feeling left at my skin after using them but for this product it gives a smooth touch and very comfortable to use it. The Favorite feature i like is the easy to use it for both dry and wet shave which makes it much more convenient. I don't think it has any compassion to other products in the same price range as here we are getting a lot for such a reasonable price.I see a great future to this product and have already gifted one set to my brother who also like this a lot. Wasn't sure what to expect when I used the shaver as this style hasn't always been my favorite, but this shaver right here hands down is the best I've used yet. It leaves such a clean smooth shave every time leaving my face feelings clean and not all stubbly. I've used this product in and out of water and handles very well, the grip is perfect feel to your hand as you shave, and the little cleaning tool that comes with it is great. I've used it without shaving cream or anything like that too and doesn't bother the skin or leave any marks. Hands down my favorite shaver to date love it! Oh and great for travel comes with perfect little zip case to carry it in. see less
