I love this color! I had been looking for a color to transition my reddish hair into fall and I am so happy with Nice N Easy 118B. The color is a beautiful warm reddish brown, not too dark and thankfully without a hint of a ghastly purpleish-red tint that comes with some other 'caramel' colors. Happy to have found my perfect color. Please don't discontinue this one. see less

I've been using this color for a few months now and I like it a lot. I think it is a bit lighter than the hair featured on the model, but it looks natural. In the sun it does appear to be a light reddish brown color. Over time, it takes on a kind of highlighted look. see less

alright i wanted to re-color my hair after i got it cut. The store did not have a big selection so i pick this one. I really like the color. got busy and left it on 35 minutes by the time i rinsed but it did not darken my hair much at all. i looks natural. i have done colors before that needed a few days of wear and washing before it look natural! see less

This was my first time dying my hair. I expected it to come out darker from the other reviews, but it really matched my medium to dark brown hair pretty closely. But it is somewhat darker than on the box. I was unsure about how long to keep it on (the box says 25 minutes) because it took me 20 minutes just to get it all through my hair. After covering my whole head I waited about 10 more minutes before starting the rinsing process. It turned out fine though. As far as the quality of it - it's fantastic! My hair honestly looks and feels healthier than it did before I dyed it! I love the chocolate color combined with the nice red tones. And it covered my grays!! I'll definitely use Nice and Easy again. I might try a lighter brown, but this one is good too! see less

I have naturally really blonde hair, and I usually try to dye it a medium golden brown color because I love the color and it suits my complexion better. I had been using L'Oreal products and loved the color result, but within a week my hair was significantly lighter and a couple of weeks and it would almost be blonde again, I could not get it to stay dark. I had heard good things about Nice 'n Easy so I decided to try it out, and I'm happy to say that the color lasts MUCH longer than L'Oreal. It has still lightened a little, but I'm guessing I should expect that since my hair is so naturally light to begin with, but with Nice 'n Easy it has stayed darker for much longer! see less

The color came out very well...Maybe I am getting better at doing my own hair...Covered Grays PERFECTLY...I am going to be switching to Nice & Easy for future Coloring. One thing I would like to mention, is before using your product I read a previous review about the conditioner. I know that women used the whole tube...I used just a dab...and I do find that it is a bit think. and does put some weight onto my hair......So I would suggest that the conditioner ingredients be looked into...Otherwise...love the product.... see less

So I colored my hair and wasn't thrilled with the result, but now I can't color my hair for 4-6 wks so I'm trying not to let it bother me...BUT my main issue is the conditioner packets included with the hair color. My dye made my hair REALLY dry, so I used the conditioner included in the box. For two days now my hair has looked and felt VERY GREASY..it's disgusting and I have to go to work looking like I didn't wash my hair that morning. I've washed my hair three times, once even with grease-fighting dish soap, and no change. So I can't even get used to the change in hair color because my hair looks and feels nasty...thanks, Clairol, I'll never use your hair color again. I usually use Garnier Nutrisse, and I guess I'll only use that brand from now on. see less

I was very pleased with the color. My hair has a tendency to grab red tones but this shade added just the perfect amount. Not too red or too ash. I am very pleased with the result and I can now stop trying a different shade everytime I color in the hope I find something I am satisfied with. My natural hair color as a teen was medium reddish blonde (with Loads of natural highlights). As a 53 year old, my natural color is dark blonde/light brown and has turned drab (not too many natural highlights anymore with just a few gray hairs at the temples). Nice 'n Easy color blend has given me back my natural highlights (reds and golden strands) with light brown as the base color. Love it!!! No more drab! I have used this particular shade 2 times now. My hair did not turn orange as other reviewers reported. I have gotten many compliments, even from people that I don't know. My husband absolutely loves how it looks and how easy it is to apply (yes, he is my personal colorist). Love him, too!!! see less

I used various brands, including professional ones purchased at beauty supply stores, in order to have Dark Brown hair instead of the mousy blonde that I naturally have, and Nice n' Easy is the only one that would last longer than three weeks and cover all my blonde. I get compliments all the time for Nn'E 120B because its not too brown nor is it too red. Definitely recommend see less

I just tried this color late last year and it's the best I've tried, and now, of course, I can't find it in any local stores. I used Preference for years, but it was flat, didn't give me the highlights that this one does. It starts out a little dark, but when it fades as they all do, it's perfect, it lasts much longer than the Preference did, and I received a ton of compliments! see less

I switched from mediium neutral brown, and although 117d starts too dark if I use the full 25 minutes, I get great grey coverage and perfect color in 10 or 12 minutes. The color seems to stay true longer and doesn't make my hair too red. see less

After years of salon coloring, home coloring and trying countless brands and colors. I've finally found the perfect hair color (117D) There are NO (zer0) orange tones to this color, it's a true, deep beautiful color and it covers all my grays. I hope they never change this color.
