This color looks amazing in the sunlight! It has warm golden tones by light, and cool brown ones in more darker environments. I would recommend this product except for the fact that this hair color line leaves my locks dehydrated, but besides that this line is true to the color seen on the box and I have always been satisfied with the results. see less

I was looking for a hair color that was dark but not to harsh as jet black. I just got done applying it and I am VERY unpleased. My hair did not come out black at all but a deep blue, but light enough to where you can see that it is blue. I will NOT be purchasing this product ever again. see less

For something that cost [$], I was very impressed and expected a lot worse. Very easy to apply just remember to wear a white shirt so as to not bleach it. Made my hair a little dry but considering my hair is highly dyed red and already kinda dry to begin with I expected that! I would highly recommend this product! Better than salon NO ORANGE HAIR!!! see less

I have super long thickish, jet black colored hair and I know it says its for dark brown hair but I tried it anyway. I put it on for the full 45min and nothing happened whatsoever. I tried it again and kept it on longer and still nothing happened. So I suggest to people with black and jet black hair don't use this product! you ll just waste your money! go to a salon and get it done! see less

I've used this semi perm color a number of times. I am 62 and have a lot of white gray hair in the front bangs. As this washes out, it leaves great hi-lites. I've received compliments on my "hi lights". It is an ash(cool) color, so be aware it will grab. I am thinking about mixing the #6 and #2 Sahara light blonde to lighten up for the summer, but I will need to have Clariol advise on that. I believe that Sahara is considered a neutral shade. I only use the conditioner, not the refresh conditioner. see less

I have used the Linen 6 Natural Instincts color for a long time. It seems to be getting harder to find. I have tried some of the other colors 8 but they don't give me the results that I am used to with this color. I hope it will not be discontinued. I have started adding my own highlights to my hair to save money. I've gotten pretty good at it however this last time there was way too much highlight and they were bright. Off of another referral on the web, I used Natural Instincts #6 as a toner and it worked well!! I applied it just to the top of my head where the highlights were. It didn't darken my blonde highlights but toned them down just enough so they blended well and it didn't affect the natural color of the rest of my hair. Thank you for saving the day! see less

I do agree that the applicator bottle is terrible - it's a poor shape and slippery- and because of that I do downgrade the "easy to apply" section. However, if you're coloring your own hair all the time, I really suggest you buy your own applicator bottles, I have one with a line of 8 applicator tips so that I don't have to spread my hair every 1/4 inch, it does that for me. This is the best non-ammonia based permanent hair color I've ever used. In fact, as my hair grows out the old color I was using, I can see how much healthier the Olia-only hair is compared to the other stuff. It smells better than any hair color I've ever used, and though I don't recommend it, you could actually use it in closed room without killing yourself. Love it! see less

This is the best haircolor I've ever used. I've been dying my hair for over 15 years and this is truly amazing. I had to recently stop going to the salon and switched to doing it myself and this is truly worth it. I saw the otehr reviews about the applicator bottle, and this is something minor but worth the hassle to get the great color and gray coverage. i used a 5.3 shade medium golden brown and it was amazing. my hair never felt so soft, shiny, and healthy! will continue to use this. love it!!! see less
