A really cute reproduction of the stool I remember. It is smaller than I thought it would be. It took a while to put together, but I enjoy having it and it is a comfortable seat. I would recommend this to a friend. see less

First, what I do like about this stool. I like the color. The heigth is perfect for sitting at my counter chopping veggies and preparing meals. The padded seat is comfortable to sit on and I can reach things on higher shelves using the steps. I like the rubber tips on the legs that keep it from slipping and scratching the floor. What I don't like is that every time I try to move the stool, the steps totally fall out of the stool...it is awkward to move. In the Cosco stool my mom had the steps were attached to the stool and folded out. This stool is not as sturdy and heavy as the one my mom had. [...] the screw holes were not accurate making it difficult to put together (this is from my husband who put it together for me). For the most part, it serves my purpose. see less

I ordered this for my renovated kitchen, which looks fairly old-fashioned, because I remember a similar chair from my grandmother's kitchen in the 50s. It is sturdy, attractive, and useful. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the step-stool only slides out; in the original it tilted up and out, which was a bit more efficient. But that is a very minor quibble. I looked for a while for the perfect stool for my counter top table, and I was so excited to find these at target online. The price was great, as compared to specialty catalogues showing the same style stool for hundreds more. I received the stools in one week, and I was able to assemble all three in less than 45 minutes. They are a perfect find to complete my country kitchen. I will definitely continue to shop online at target, quality and price, what else do you need! see less

These stools are perfect for any tropical decor. The Rush Top is beautiful!!!!! I will caution you though. They don't come assembled and you basically build the WHOLE stool. Takes quite a bit of time and instructions aren't much help. We tried the Natural color from another store, same company, and they arrived assembled. Soooooooooo much easier. But this is the only place that I found white. Though one of the "stretch bars" broke after only a week I'm hoping it was just a weak spot in the wood and the company is replacing it for free. The stools seem to be quality and solid, IF nothing else breaks. see less

This barstool is easy to build but it is made of cheap wood. It is not sturdy. I have taken mine apart several times to re-ajust the wobbling. It looks good from a far but that is it. Good for an apartment of dorm, definately not for entertaining home. see less

I hunted and hunted for chairs with an industrial look to them and they were all just way over my budget. I was super-excited to find these at such a low price. It also made me a bit leary. However, I got them and they look great. Keep in mind, that the seat part of the stools are a hard plastic, despite looking like metal in the picture. But they still look good. The rest of the stool is a heavy feeling metal, though, and feels like they'll last for a long time. see less

I bought this for my 2 year old, and it is great! It is not so high that he would fall off and hurt himself, but is high enough for him to reach the sink. (he is 36 in and he can reach the water to help wash hands, but not the handle that turns on the water in standard bathroom sink heights). It says it supports 200 lbs, so even older kids can safely use it (my 200 lb husband tested it to to be sure!) It is very easy to unfold, and not so easy to fold (which is perfect when I don't want the stool to accidentally fold while in use). The letters are cute, and it is light enough for my son to carry around for fun. You may want something a little taller if you're purchasing for a 1 year old, though. I wish other reviewers wouldn't base their 1 star reviews on the fact that they were silly enough to think a bright blue step stool with the alphabet on it was for adults... see less

I read the reviews on this seat before I bought it. So I knew it would be a little flimsy. But with my son being terrified to sit on a big potty without one I decided to give it a try for our outings. I'm glad I did. I have to gently place him on it and then at the same time hold the seat still and pick him up so he doesn't freak out that it's moving. But while he's on it it's secure and he is fine using it. It's compact so it fits nicely in his diaper bag/mommy's purse. And since there isn't too many options out there I would recommend it. see less

It fits perfectly in an medium sized purse which works well since I no longer carry a diaper bag. I purchased this item for my daughter who is very small for her age. The world is just not built for little people. This item means freedom for me as the potty training process should never be interupted. So, in that respect, I am very happy with this item. However, it is not very sturdy. Even though my daughter is less than 30 lbs, the seat seems to strain under her weight. The foam grippers on the underside do ver little to keep the seat in place. But like I said, this is a travel item that I hope I do not have a need for in the very near future, so price and the ability to fold up to a compact size are the most important things. see less

I have had basically this same chair that I got with green stamps years ago so you know it was a long time. This one is a little wider but basically the same. I liked the white and I knew the quality of my existing chair so I got it and I am not disappointed. I have had these bar stools for a year now. They are holding up pretty well, but they do get a bit rocky over time. You can tighten the screws but they will never be totally solid, but that is what you get with wooden bar stools. All in all, despite being a bit rocky, they are still very usable and comfortable. Overall, not bad for the money. see less
