My son is more.entertained when he can tap at a toy that makes a sound. He's only 9 weeks now but starting to get too tall for this one. Our other swings accomidates a longer baby. I bought this swing used from someone locally, so my daughter was the second baby to use it. We used it and loved it for about 7 months until my daughter started trying to escape it. It was a lifesaver! We used is for at least 2-4 hours a day when she was going through a rough period and it was the only way she would nap. After my baby used it, we let a friend borrow it for her baby sitter to use. It wasn't until the third baby that we had any sort of issue with the motor, and it turns out that my friend's babysitter was leaving the baby in it ALL day---8-9 hours. So the motor burned out, but my friend was able to find a motor from a different product to replace it, and the swing is working perfectly again! We have been using this swing for 10 weeks straight. It rocks from left to right, or right to left, or front to back. The seat itself can lay flat or at and incline. The is a mobile with a mirror so baby can look at himself or the monkeys spinning. There are 4 different sound options with multiple sounds for each. The seat is soft and easy to clean if needed. Our swing motor is not too loud and doesn't have clicking sounds. My husband and I took less then 30 minutes to set it up. The one downside is that because of its ability to go different directions the legs are very wide and take up a lot of room. see less

Since this item arrived we have been using it constantly the swing has actually helped me cut down on rocking time and have my baby asleep quicker. My baby loves the colorful cute mobile and the bouncing options. I am very content with the solid construction of the frame and moldings and the easy to assemble was vital for my limited fix it knowledge. We have only had this swing for two days, but so far it has been an amazing life saver for us. Our one month old was going through a period where she was sleeping very little at night and not at all during the day. Because she wasn't sleeping during the day, she wanted to be held ALL the time making things very frustrating and at night she was a terror because she was too exhausted to settle down. The first night we put her in this she only sat in it for about 15 minutes, but it helped her to pass a lot of gas which got her to calm down for the night. Today she has taken two long naps in it and feels so much better that it's like we have a new baby! This review may be a bit premature, but so far I couldn't be happier with this swing. Pros... Very reasonably priced, super easy set up, nice material, five point harness, reasonably quite motor, two adjustable heights for swing. Cons... Will require a lot of batteries, no musics, dull toy bar. see less

I had read some negative reviews on another website regarding the battery life, the toys, and the noise. We have been using the swing for three weeks, and the same batteries are going strong. We use it for an hour total each day. I like that it is battery operated because we don't have plugs near all the places we need the swing to go. The toys are plain, perhaps boring. I wish the colors had a more intense contrast with one another. It seems that the designers went more with tasteful rather than what newborns like to look at. This is not a silent swing, but I think my kid likes the rhythmic noise. My fav feature is how easy it moves from one room to the next or outside. My least fav feature is the buckle because I find it difficult to slide the top strap onto the clasp mechanism on the side strap before buckling it in the bottom strap. The fabric looks nice but feels so-so, but I expected that with the low price. Overall, I would happily buy this swing again. see less

Wow, was so happy I got this glider swing. I love Graco so much and I use their products all the time. I love that I can put my daughter in there and put the music on. She loves it and she sleeps for a while. This helps me either to do work around the house or just to take a nap. I also like that instead of using 4 D batteries, you have the option of plugging it in which I always do. It was also very easy to take wherever I needed to take it. I would definetely recommend this swing and I give it five stars! see less

I love Graco brand of baby gear, because they are quality products at an affordable price. Plus they come in super cute patterns, too! This swing is perfect for a newborn up until they are crawling. My little princess screams when it's time to nap in her crib, so this swing offers the perfect solution so I can get things done around the house and she is safe and secure and lulls into a nice sleep. It takes 4 size D batteries but can be plugged into an outlet which is a plus. Batteries are expensive but they last in this swing and it makes it portable. This is great on trips as well. My baby loves this swing! When she is being cranky and I can find nothing that is wrong or that she needs I just put her into this swing and turn on a soothing melody if it is close to nap time. If not I turn on the other happy playful melodies and she seem to really enjoy them. I thing she has learned to tell me she wants to be put in her swing by crying. Just like she does when she is hungry.It's sturdy and strong yet easy to carry from room to room. You have the option to plug in into a wall outlet or use batteries. I have to say, even though I know it is very low voltage, I am not at all comfortable putting my baby into soothing that has an electrical current running through it. .All in all it is a good solid swing, that cuddles your baby in comfort and can entertain with melodies or sooth a cranky baby with the softer, soothing melodies. Also love the fact that this material can be easily wiped clean with a wet cloth, saving the more in depth washing for far larger and heavier messes! Another feature that was well appreciated was that the swing can be plugged in or you can use batteries! My son did not start liking his swing untill he was about 2 months old.. but now it is a life saver! he uses it everyday for naps.. it clicks.. but its not that bad!! also the middle seat is hard to latch... that is the only bad thing about it. and the batteries last FOREVER... i got this as a gift.. one of my favorites! see less

My mother bought this for our second son and we love it! Some of the negative reviews complain about the motor noise, there is a slight tick/click sound as it swings but it is barely audible. Other reviews complain about the tray not securing properly. I agree with that but we have found that you have to push back and down to close it tightly. I like having only one item that serves as a bouncer and swing. Sometimes my son wants to swing and other times he just wants to chill out in the floor in his bouncer and watch his brother play. Our living room is cramped so the combo is nice. One thing I wish is that Graco would include some toys for the bouncer when it's separated. There are attachment slots but no toys that came with it. We were a little bummed about that. Over all the pros outweigh the cons. My son enjoys it and we enjoy it. Well worth the money! see less

This swing is awesome. It is the only peace I got for the first few months of my son's life. I bought it used and it still worked perfectly. I intend to use it for my next child as well. I would put my son in it and no matter what kind of mood he was in he would become content and happy. He absolutely loved it and I absolutely loved having a bit of my sanity back. He would fall asleep in it and sleep for hours. If I could only meet the person who made it I would give them a big hug and say thank you. I only wish you could plug it in but in all honesty the batteries last a while. I think I'd change them about once a month and my son spent a lot of time in it. I cannot recommend this swing highly enough. see less

My aunt bought this for me when I had my first one and it was such a lifesaver. We kept it for our second one and it still works great. We use it for little naps and when we have to fold laundry or do the dishes. It is easy to move from room to room. Very comfortable for the baby. I absolutely love this swing! When my little one has a tummy ache, I turn it to the swing position (front to back). Otherwise, she seems to prefer the cradle position (side to side). It's easy to use, easy to move, easy to change positions. The mobile has individual arms that move up and down as well as circular, and my babe seems to be fascinated with the dome mirror in the middle. There are lots of songs and sound options. You can have just the mobile, just music, just swing or any combination. This also has volume control. The soft sound it makes when it swings back and forth seem to comfort the baby. This just provides a much needed break when on or both of us is tired from rocking, walking, or bouncing. I would definitely buy this again. see less

I love this swing. This is all my son liked the first few days at home. I assembled it myself at 8 1/2 months pregnant and it was quite easy to do. The only problem I found was the tray doesn't stay down. The fabric seemed to be too tight in order for the tray to click into place. My son loves the pattern and the vibration option. Cons- a little frustrating to put together but I think we were just sick of putting things together by the time it came to the swing. The chair is ridiculous because it comes in two pieces and trying to put on the seat cover was impossible with it coming apart. Then it was a pain to get the seat parts to screw together. The bouncer is not very bouncy like actual bouncers. The harness I can see as being a pain. The chair vibration I didn't try yet. It reclines almost flat, then it reclines once more as seen in the picture. The swing is relatively quiet as it swings, it has 6 speed options. The pattern on the swing is very nice, and neutral if you expect to have more children. The mobile on top is useless as it attaches with an elastic loop that doesn't spin, it just gets in the way. The music and nature sounds are useless. The nature sounds can't be heard, the music is quiet but if placed in a dead silent room, I'm sure the baby could hear it. The instructions to put this thing together are very vague. I will update further more once the little one arrives and we see how the swing itself moves with an infant in it. see less

We recently purchased this swing during the baby sale. I had read the reviews and did some comparison with other swings and stores. Overall, the swing works well. The first time we put our son in this swing it would barely move even though he was only 5 weeks old and well under the weight limit. Then we realized you have to give it a push to get the swing going and then the motor maintains the speed. Our son loves the moving mobile, mirror and the decorative monkey and hippo screen. To be honest, I was a little bit reluctant to order this swing, however for my first child I spent almost 200 for fisher price swing that wasn't worth it - we went through batteries like you go through water, and our son didn't like being in it at all. So we sold it for 50 after using it for 2 months, and decided to buy something that seems to be a better invention, and it is. It looks amazing, and does a great job - not only it swings in different positions but also in different speeds and you can attach your ipod/iphone and turn on any music you like. Also, like the different positions you can put your child from sitting to laying. Will be ordering plush so it's more soft! see less

I was so excited to order this from all the target gift cards we got. I saw it given away on the Ellen DeGeneres show. It took a friend and I about 45 min to an 1 hr to put together. Love all the settings. kangaroo, tree swing, rock a bye, car ride, and ocean wave. I used to connect the ipod to it but the speakers aren't that great so I just stopped. Baby didn't mind. Swing is very easy to unzip and put in the wash when dirty. Wish the buckles came out so I could wash them too. For the price, I wish the toys on the top moved by themselves. I've had it for 6 months and it just stopped working. Started to flash obstruction when there is none.[...] see less

When I was pregnant with my first child, I did A LOT of research on which swing to buy. I found this swing, but in blue, and bought it and LOVED it! I had no idea they made such awesome swings now. It has everything. There are multiple lullabies and nature sounds to choose from and you have the option to have a light show play as well and different volume settings. You can also choose to rotate the swing 3 different directions. Front facing and left or right. Granted, if you have a heavier baby, like I did, it does tend to go a little slower, but that didn't affect my son at the least. When he was a newborn, I would put him in it and he would sleep for 3 hours! That thing was a life saver. Over all, I would definitely recommend this swing! see less

I got this as a gift from my baby shower. The product was easy to put together and is absolutely beautiful!. I read many reviews about other swings and it seems that there really is no perfect swing. They all seem to have problems with either noise or a weak motor. Luckily, so far the motor is going strong though it is a little nosier than I expected, it really is not to bad. The nature sounds and butterfly light show are breath taking and keep my baby girl in awe. This swing has been a life saver and I am glad to have received such a wonderful gift. see less
