We have a ranch, with an area where we host lots of gatherings, and are always on the lookout for affordable, durable, energy efficient lighting to hang in trees, etc. I think we've found it in these! They put out a decent light, while not being too bright/harsh. We've used a lot of twinkle style lights, which we like as well. These seem to cast a bit more light for folks walking around, and wanting to see their way. They seem durable, use little energy, can plug MANY strings together, and bulbs are rated to last 25,000 hours, so should last a LONG time! We ordered 6 sets to start with, and I'm ordering 8 more. I'll let you know if they perform as expected. So far, so good! see less

Significant Other packs holidays items like a disinterested box boy at a market yet ours survived this from last year.I have mixed rice lights, standard miniatures and these on our tree and I like the effect. I found the clear ones way too brash of a light, and would think that it would be the same outdoors, though I have not tried this. The frosted globes really are somewhat different and pleasant light. I had no problem with breakage, but I have had three burn out by this years decorating. Replacement bulbs are a real hunt. It is a 7 watt Candelabra base, the same base as the C7, like the older standard lights one used on a tree. It is an unusual light, which is what drew me to them, and with this you have to hunt for replacements like this. see less

I decided to give these a try because they are such a good buy. I followed the advice of others and took all the bulbs out BEFORE hanging them. Then I went back and put the bulbs in and I had zero problems. I went back and bought two more strands and hung them also with no issues. These lights look really good and are an amazing value. If I could add another star for the value I would cause similar products cost like 3x more per strand. I would not hesitate to buy these again. Just take the bulbs out before hanging and you'll have no problems. see less

I hung up 8 boxes of these lights, 200 bulbs, without breaking one bulb. All you have to do is unscrew the bulbs before removing wiring from packaging, hang up wire string, and screw bulbs on later. Lights looks awesome and 160 feet of globe lights for 120 dollars, can't beat that price. Great purchase! see less

I've had a set of these for three summers now. Not only are they pretty at nighttime, they also have not cracked, peeled, or lost any of their color. Insects do not collect at the bottom of them, either. They've proven themselves against the hot sun and windy rainstorms. I would recommend! see less

I live in the NW area of the US. I have 8 strands of these outside adorning my backyard! They are beautiful! They withstand all the summer rain we get and still look brand new. Their illumination is bright yet not harsh. For those looking for a classical timeless look, I highly recommend these. They are a nice spin on the typical mini white lights. see less

The value is great for what you get though the cord is little short. I just wish that they came in a box of rainbow colors so that you didn't have to buy different colors in separate boxes but otherwise, I think that they look fantastic and they make my lanai really standout! Placed 8 strings on tree indoors. Perfect. The are pretty hardy if you are careful with forming the metal petals The color is very nice when lit and gives nice warm feel to the room. All 8 strings worked fine. Nicely pkged, as well, with no damage to all 11 sets ordered Heeded the short string comment, so ordered on high end. Very pleased. Well worth the price. see less
