I bought one for my niece to use for her little girl. We checked it against a standard thermometer. If PROPERLY USED, it works Excellent and is extremely accurate! I have one of those that you use in your ear. It's hard to get a consistent reading with that kind and you have to take several readings. I'm buying one of these Exergens for myself today. This is absolutely the best thermometer I have ever used and is worth every penny! Any negative comments written about the functionality of it will only be due to operator error. Don't hesitate to spend the money, you'll be glad you made the investment! see less

This thermometer is fabulous! It not only is a non-contact but takes the temperature of surfaces, rooms, and living organisms. It is very simple to use and for infants truly is the best. Babies are fussy and the less you have to disturb them with anything else besides changing, feeding, and bathing is better for both baby and Mom. see less

I bought this online, I have a two year old at home and Shes very active and hates the traditional way you take there temp. So I saw this item and loved the idea of just scanning her forehead. I have to say I truly love this product. I can use it when shes sleeping in her crib or while shes reading a book. Its FAST. and you a can use on other things, like boiling water, room temp. Its great. I just wish I got this at my baby shower YEARS ago! Defiantly a great product. Defiantly RECOMMEND IT! see less
