This pillow truly is perfect for side sleepers. I was very pleased with the firm yet softness of the pillow. I actually bought two for my boyfriend as a gag birthday present, and am now going to have to buy some for myself. I can't let him have all the good sleep. This is the best pillow ever. My husband and I "fight" over it every night so I decided to replace all of our pillows with this one. It is the kind I've been looking for for a very long time. It reminds me of the very comfy hotel pillows, when your in a nice hotel... and we've stayed at 5 star hotels. The previous reviewer is probably talking about wanting a pillow that is firm all throughout which yes this one is not and of course everyone has a different need and option of comfort. This one is for people that want a soft squishy pillow that does give you much support, not a cheap feeling fill at all and allows you to mold it to your head and neck. It definitely has more of a thick fill than a cheap thin fill, it just allows you to mold it. I have a bad back and always wake up with knots in my neck except when I use this pillow because I can mold it to fill in my neck, it gives me the support I need when it is in that position and its not firm/hard as a rock. I've searched for years for the perfect pillow...thank goodness my sister-in-law gave me one after hearing me complain about wishing I could find a good one. This pillow is soft and can be molded like clay to fit under your head, neck and shoulders. In fact, my 10 year old granddaughter begs me to let her use it on nights that she stays over. So, I'm getting her one for her birthday...it's what she requested. see less

I have been sleeping on them for about 6 months and are the best pillows I have ever found. I purchased a real good zippered pillow protector to use with as you cannot wash them, and are a pricey investment that are hard to find. Target only carries the queen size. Excellent support, but you must get used to them. My son calls them "sand bags", and are heavy, very heavy. If you like a firm support pillow that stays in place, I highly recommend them. No more back aches, no more neck aches. see less

I like firm pillows. I typically use a memory foam type pillow. This is not anywhere near that firm. I have to fold it in half to get the support I need. Never-the-less, it is a decent pillow enough so where I don't care to mess with returning it, but not nearly as firm as I was expecting. see less

I bought these pillows less then 2 months ago and already feel the need to replace them. They were firm for about the first week then started flattening out. I need firm pillows because of neck issues, and I am now waking up with headaches because of the lack of support these pillows are not providing. If you have neck issues I highly do not recommend these. see less

I bought the set in solid navy. It's a beautiful, tranquil shade of blue. I was able to get king size. The price is reasonable and the quality is satisfactory. The jersey feels soft and warm. These are easy to care for. No frill for a reasonable price. see less

These pillowcases are very soft, but the sizing is strange. After washing and drying, the end of the pillow sticks out the end because it is too short. One of the pillowcases was about an inch shorter than the other. The width, however, is about four inches too wide. These will be returned. see less

This pillow is as comfortable as they claim, however, the "standard" size is almost half the size of a traditional pillow. It comes with one white custom-fit pillow case, and I don't see a way to order extras or replace it if it were to wear out. The pillow should not be used without the pillow case. The pillow can not be washed, only spot cleaned. I think this would be great for car trips, but because of the small size, it's not great for a bed. If you want a pillow you can use with your regular pillow cases, you should spend the extra twenty dollars and get the "full" size. They don't recommend it for children under 14. see less

I am on my way to Target to return the 3rd set of Thomas O'Brien Vintage Modern Pillowcases!! Each set had either split seams or fabric sewn in the wrong place. I love the designs but the fabrication is very poor. Suggest finding another factory to produce his products. I have no idea how the pillowcases hold up as I haven't found a set that I could put on the bed and use. I love Target though! see less

I bought this because of the cannon name and I was VERY pleased. When you squish the pillows down they puff back. Good strong stiching and consistant fill. I guess you would call this a medium to soft type pillow. Getting another set for sure! see less

They do puff right back up, which is a weird feeling, but, again, my husband loves them. I guess I'm just picky. They are a good buy, nothing wrong with them at all.
