My son is OBSESSED with Cars and his favorite is Mater. This little lego set is so cute! He loves it. At first it was hard for him to put the little missles in the gun thing but after about a week he was a pro at it! I do wish it came with a little attachment that had the tow part of Mater (like in the Big Bentley set) so that he could be an undercover Mater and I don't have to buy the other set... but other than that NO complaints! Nice little set for a good price!
This is a great small set for its value. My daughter has tons of the blocks and I was just wanting more figures for her to play with so this was great for that. It doesn't come with many blocks but someone just looking for figures like I was, this is the best buy. She plays with them all the time.
I bought this cute little set for my 4 year old niece for Christmas, because she is into Disney Princesses, she likes Duplo/Legos, and I couldn't let her play with my large displayed Star Wars Hoth battle scene("no no no don't touch your uncle's AT-AT please...okay, okay you can play with the Wampa...lol), so when I saw this set I thought it was perfect for a small gift, and she was very happy with it and I helped her put it together. On to the review:
You get two fairly large "Minifigs", including a really cute rabbit and Snow White. Snow White is fortunately in one piece, and I liked the fabric dress, as it added a nice touch. She looks very cute and Chiba-like(Chiba, i.e. exaggerated features, big head and eyes, Hello Kitty or Astro Boy Japanese anime type look).
You get a nice printed table and chairs(I hope that's not a bad apple!), a neat small "cottage" section with an opening window, fence piece, and a "tree" with a printed bird piece.
It's Duplo. I showed her how to build the cottage as shown on the box, then took it apart and she built it easily. Then she took it apart and started building at whim. She loved making towers out of the pieces. Very cool.
Not a bad price for all of the large pieces and figures you get, plus it's a licensed set. I thought it was worth every penny, and I am going to buy more for her.
In conclusion, if your niece/daughter/yourself likes Disney, how can you go wrong with giving them/yourself something to build and explore/display as well? Win-win in my book. I highly recommend it.
Last year I was very excited to learn that Legos would be coming out with a Disney Princess Duplo Collection and they did not disappoint. My daughter loves her Snow White and Sleeping Beauty sets. She sets them up and plays with them all the time. Cinderella's Castle and Carriage will be under the tree this year making the set complete. I can't wait to see her excitement. Awesome job Legos and looking forward to the Little Mermaid sets coming. They will definetly be added to my daughter's collection.
I bought all of the princess sets for my 2 year old granddaughter. We love them. We interchange all of the pieces together which gives more of a variety to build and use her imagination. I am an early childhood educator and full time grandmother. I believe Legos are by far the best "toy" product on the market.
Duplos are a great toy for little builders. This set in particular is fantastic as it comes with several animals, a zoo keeper, his vehicle, and food for the animals too. My kids spend a lot of time building homes for each animal.
This set is brilliant!
Plenty of bricks, plenty of animals and other accessories. Also plenty of activities for a father and son to do, including matching the meal to the animal. This was an instant hit. I would have given this 6 out of 5 for value if I could
My 20 month old son loves LEGOS. He received this set for Christmas. There are a variety of different pieces and the windows are great for building houses. He likes to create "cars" too for the "man" to ride in.
