The granules are on the coarse side like sugar. Definitely avoid your face. The product tends to separate a bit on the first couple of uses, squeezing out more of the soap/oil than the granules, and it can be a bear to get out of the tube. It smells wonderful, and although it surprised me by lathering a fair bit when rubbed on, it left my skin relatively soft and smooth afterward.
First, the good. The lip balm is nice. It goes on smooth and has a sweet strawberry scent to it. The clementine body wash and lotion legit smell like you just peeled open a clementine. The little perfume sample they include is also a nice, light powdery citrus.
Now the bad. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion and body wash are all packed in square bottles, which means it's a real pain to get the product out. The shampoo just smells like floor cleaner - not mint tea - and doesn't lather. The conditioner smells like toothpaste and does nothing to soften hair. The body wash doesn't really lather, either. I wound up rewashing and reconditioning my hair with the [...]provided by the hotel. The lotion was no better than your typical scented lotion, nothing particularly softening or hydrating.
I didn't get around to messing with the lip scrub or sugar scrub so I can't really comment on that, but this was a real waste.
