I purchased this online as a gift. Since I hadn't seen it in person I was a little nervous, but it definitely met my expectations when it arrived - in record time by the way! The recipient is using it everyday and says it is very durable, keeps everything cold, and fits a ton of stuff. The TV ad said it would stay cold up to 8 (or 10) hours... I have yet to have this thing remain frozen longer than 4 hours. The bag goes from the house to my truck, to my air conditioned office, where it sits until I eat lunch. By lunch, the gel is completely melted and only cool to the touch. The biggest benefit to this cooler is that it is relatively pliable since the gel is in separate sections. Would not purchase this again or recommend to a friend. see less

I purchased this bag because of the boyish colors for my 4yr old son to use at day care. What you don't see in the pictures are... Inside, it has a strong metallic insulation, which should add longer cool storage for your food. Outside, it has an additional side zippered pocket that is not insulated. It was perfect to store my son's reusable travel Thomas the Train silverware, since I'm not doing disposable. It can hold a kid cuisine meal without having to remove it from the carton. There is enough room to store his sippie cup and a few other things as well as an ice pack to keep it cool for a longer period of time. For those who are looking to purchase this for a female, it also came with a shoulder strap. It's smaller than the Thermos brand in length, which I have, but you can fit just as much in it. It's the cutest thing for anyone looking for a reasonable size lunch tote to carry your food in. My son was excited to see it. see less
