Our 10 year old Microwave died a month ago and after reading up on all the different ovens out there, this one seem to stand out as the best for the money. It does more than our 10 year old did and boy does it cook well. We highly recommend this Microwave Oven! see less

Our old microwave stopped working and I was looking for a replacement, that was 1.powerful, 2. Not expensive 3. Wasn't complete junk (as many under $100 seem to be)We were lucky to find this on sale for [$] which made me actually buy another, since it seemed too good to be true. The other one quickly was returned, as it wasn't as described. Anyways, this is easy to use, cooks fast, easy to clean and does everything we need it to do for a great price. Purchased 18 months ago for my work office. Used for breakfast and lunches. Even though it is a 900 watt it heated soups, dinners , like Healthy Choice, rewarmed home made dinners, popcorn, breakfast items, like Jimmy Dean breakfast biscuits, heated water for tea, basically it did everything asked of it. I am surprised at the poor ratings this microwave has gotten. I think it is great, especially for the price. Maybe it's because I don't use my microwave for cooking full meals. I use it for popcorn, warming leftovers and making frozen vegetables. For these purposes, I couldn't ask for more. The foot print is small, yet it holds a large dinner plate. Easy to clean, inside and outside. I would purchase again see less

I bought this to replace a Magic Chef that had broken down one too many times. From the time I opened the box, it tool less than 2 minutes to setup. I like the controls and features, and it looks very classy. The only con is that the fan is fairly noisy, but hopefully that will prevent it from overheating and melting down! see less

I highly recommend this microwave. Looks great, power 900watts and the price. WOW. It's quiet while running, timer is not annoying, just beeps a couple of times just loud enough. Illuminated clock too. Made much better than comperably priced [brand]. I thought it was the nicest looking compared to all on display. I am very happy with this purchase. I bought this microwave because it looks good, it's cheap, and it has decent wattage and a turntable. I'm surprised to see people knocking it for not lasting more than 2 years, but what do you expect for [$$] bucks? It heats my food and beverages quickly, quietly, and thoroughly. And the blue lights are cool. It has sufficient space inside for a dinner plate or an 8x8 inch casserole pan. Overall, it's a fantastic buy. Too bad it's not made in the USA. I'd have paid another [$$] bucks for THAT feature. see less

This microwave works great except for the door that doesn't open properly all the time - it sticks! I had seen this in some of the reviews I had read but was hoping that mine wouldn't. After getting frustrated, I was ready to return it but decided to read up more on it. Some generous soul had posted an advice that worked great and has fixed my problem for now. Just loosen the cover screws on the right side of the microwave. Apparently there is some tolerance issue with the mechanical parts but this is a 30 sec fix that's worked for me. Purchased two years ago. A year ago we started to having issues with the door not closing properly without slamming it, otherwise the microwave would not run. Panasonic said that since warranty expired, go get it fixed. Panasonic has always been my number one choice because of their high quality items, but I will avoid their microwaves from now on. see less

I recently purchased this microwave and I love it! Not only does it have a myriad of features/settings for every type of food imaginable but it also cooks my food evenly and consistently and most importantly - FAST! I normally do not take the time to write reviews but I feel compelled to do so because this is a fantastic microwave. It may be a bit pricey but you pay what you get! That simple. The ONLY thing I don't like about it is that its BIG which is great for heating up lots of food at once but if you have a small counter space this could be an issue for you as it was for me. However, I just purchased a separate microwave stand and the problem was solved. I LOVE IT! COULDN'T BE HAPPIER AND URGE ALL OF YOU TO GO OUT AND PURCHASE THIS MICROWAVE IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF ONE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED! :D see less

I bought this model of microwave when it first came out the beginning of 2008. It was a brand new model at that time but I figured I would chance it. I always do a consumer reports check on almost everything before I buy. This had replaced another model but regardless of which brand of microwave I studied, even if CR graded them high, consumers rated them poor. I took my chance on this one and could not be happier. It cooks even, cleans up nicely and is not complicated to use. I love the one button for popcorn and "baked" potatoes. I use this daily and have absolutely no complaints. My daughter picked another, cheaper model and brand for her shower/wedding registry but she is getting this model since it has proven itself to me. She will have to do a return if not happy. It has a nice design and I love the stainless steel even though, as with stainless, you have to shine the outside. see less

We purchased this microwave a couple of weeks ago and have nothing but great results with it. Our old microwave lasted for about 10 years however it was small and our plates would not turn properly inside of it and it started cooking unevenly. This microwave is a good size, and all of our plates fit into it and the cooking time is significantly lower than our old microwave, it also cooks everything evenly. Started getting occasionally flaky around two months old, by four months it would actually start up on its own when no one was near it or had pushed any buttons. Very scary. After the second time it did this I unplugged it and tossed it. This was a terrible waste of money. see less

I have had an inverter type Microwave for over 8 years and it still works. My only problem with it is the bottom of it where the turn tray goes around. I reckon it has been around so many times that it has worn the paint off and it has started to rust. BUT, the microwave still works fine. Never had any other trouble out of it! see less

After a talk with my appliance repairman, I will never buy a Panasonic again, he says they never last. I have to say one good thing, Target's extended warranty progtram is wonderful, they sent me a gift card within a week to replace the microwave. see less

My husband bought this for me 2 years ago for Christmas because our oven didn't hold a consistant temperature and I couldn't bake as much as I liked... this little gem was a life saver! The only downside is that the microwave function takes longer than a regular microwave... but I have loved having a convection oven. see less

I BOUGHT MY 1ST MICROWAVE IN 1983 & IT WAS A SHARP MICRO/CONVECTION OVEN. I WOULD STILL BE USING IT IF I HADN'T ACCIDENTALLY BURNED A LOAF OF BREAD IN IT & COULDN'T GET RID OF THE SMELL! I FIGURED AFTER 26 YEARS IT DIDN'T OWE ME ANYTHING. THIS REPLACEMENT I BOUGHT DOES NOT HAVE AS STURDY A TURNTABLE BUT IT WAS INEXPENSIVE FOR ALL THE FEATURES IT HAS. I THINK IT'S A GOOD BUY FOR THE MONEY. I'M STILL LEARNING HOW TO USE IT AS IT CAN SEEM CONFUSING, BUT SO FAR I'M SATISFIED. IT'S GREAT TO HAVE A SPARE (ALBEIT SMALL)OVEN ON HOT SUMMER DAYS. see less
