We were looking to update our computer table, but we were having a hard time finding everything we wanted in one unit until we saw this online. It was shipped in two boxes. When we received the first box, we were not sure what to think. A day or two later the second box arrived. Everything was intact. The pieces were clearly marked, and the directions were complete. We took another reviewer's idea and switched the two sides. Even then, it went together quickly. I really like the elevated corner shelf for the monitor and the separate cart for the PC tower. It is a versatile desk with plenty of space to work. It was well worth the price!! see less

I luv it so much that I now have 2. I bought the first one about 1-1/2 years ago to work from home. And because it works so well for what I need it for, I bought another one for my personal computer. I have my small TV on the little corner shelf and the VCR underneath. It probably took my husband and I a few hours to put it together but we went slow and were deliberate with the directions. And we set it up opposite from what the photos shows -- it is possible! I like a lot of horizontal space to spread out my work, craft supplies, etc. and don't need a hutch with little cubbyholes which can be useless for me. And I have a place to put all my little Christmas decorations this season! and they are all right next to me for up-close viewing. Thanks so much for reading my review. I'm a young person, on a tight budget--who wanted a desk that's stylish, affordable with good quality. This is it. I love it. It was easy to assemble--I did it in a few hrs. The tempered glass and its color--is exactly what I was looking for. Because of the way I wanted my room arranged, I didn't make the "L"--so I just set it up as 2 separate desks. It looks very good. It was over [$] for all three pieces so I began to shop around for one I knew he would enjoy just as much but at a lesser cost.I first saw this desk on [other] [...]I am in Afghanistan now, so he was so surprised to have received this wonderful gift from me and he keeps telling me it is "perfect." After doing my research and comparing several different glass-topped desks, I decided on this one from Techni-Mobili. I was pleased, upon further research, to find that target.com carried the desk and also had it for the lowest price with free shipping.The desk is made of quality materials (MDF, metal, and thick, nicely-finished glass) and makes for an efficient and elegant home office set up. Assembly takes a fair bit of time, but you can expect that when dealing with a well-engineered desk consisting of multiple pieces. One thing to note when assembling is the alignment of the glass panels. I recommend placing all of the panels first and using the corner section as an alignment guide to ensure the two rectangular pieces are square and have a minimal gap before securing with screws. Fortunately, the manufacturer makes the through holes in the support rails over-sized to allow for this adjustment.[...]Overall, I give this product 5 stars, and I certainly recommend it for anyone looking for a well-designed, sturdy, and elegant work space for either home or office. see less

However, the customer service department was wonderful! We ordered the damaged parts and received everything, in good condition, within about 3 days. After reading the other reviews, those who gave this desk a low rating must not have put the desk together correctly! It is sturdy, solid and attractive. The top actually bolts into the frame to hold it into place as opposed to suction cups. I am using it everyday, 9 hours a day, and if you have the ability to follow the simple directions, and screw in some screws nice and tight, you will be satisfied. It is a nice desk! see less

I've had this desk for about a month now. it's been great!Set up was easy, no damage to the metal or glass parts. This has held up to Daily use with no issues from the desk. keyboard try fits correctly and slides nicely.It's a great if you can catch it on free shipping. I'd actually love another section of this as table to put my printer and scanner on!It does lack the storage space of other desks, but most Glass ones are pretty minimal, so that comes with the territory, and it would be nice if the keyboard tray was larger to accommodate a keyboard and mouse (it's wider than just a keyboard, but not wide enough for both), but using the mouse on the desktop if fine with me, I keep my external usb drive on the keyboard tray now.Also, this Desk IS NOT made by Walker Edison, as the 1 star review from Annoyed in NY "Anthony" states. Walker Edison Does make the OTHER Glass/metal L shaped desks that target offers for sale (like the Imperial). Techni Mobili is manufactured by RTA Products. see less
