I love my ninja. We have recently decided to go dairy and gluten free. We are making our own rice milk, mixing our own bread dough, and making smoothies. we have even made green smoothies although I use mostly cucumbers and premix stems and leafy vegetables in a little water till their blended then freeze them into ice cubes then add it to smoothies. The bread dough in gluten free bread is more like a thick batter but its easy and tastes great. Its a great buy. It came with lots of cook books too. see less

I've had this blender for about 6 months and so far it's meeting all my needs- smoothies, soups, whatever. I haven't had any problems with ice as some other reviewers have mentioned- I think maybe they just didn't do it right. The only thing that took a bit of getting used to was the lid. I've always have "regular" blenders where you can take off the top any way you like. Having to push a little button all the time was different, but no set back. I tell anyone who wants a blender to invest in this. It's powerful- it will liquify anything. Sturdy- the base isn't going to dance across the counter if you put it on high. And clean up is easy. If you want a great blender, this is the way to go. see less

Less than 2 months after purchase it completely stopped working. First it wouldn't detect the pitcher when trying to blend a significant amount, a couple weeks later it wouldn't detect the single serve cup. see less

I like how I can easily put ingredients in the individual serving cup, screw the blade onto the cup and invert, then place it on the base. Just pushing down turns the motor on and I can pulse or hold it down for longer to blend ingredients. I have used apples with skin, grapes, berries, kale, and spinach and everything is liquified in a matter of seconds, including ice cubes. The noise level turned out to not be as bad as I feared, but that may be because the ingredients are blended so quickly, it is rarely on for more than 15-20 seconds. I have yet to use it for larger quantities or for cookie or bread dough so I can't say if it functions as well for those items. As far as value, I know there are blenders available for less, but I liked the individual serving feature and was willing to pay more for it, but the Ninja Pulse is less than the comparable Nutribullet. I love the confidence I have buying with Target and know if anything did not meet my satisfaction I could return it. see less

We bought this blender system about a week ago. I have used the single serve cups almost everyday to make smoothies. I have been very happy with the functionality of the product. It blends the smoothie very well and throughly. I put completely frozen fruit in the blender and it turns it into a liquid with just a few pulses. I have not used the dough bowl yet, but I am very optimistic about how it will work! I would definitely recommend this blender system. see less

I bought this system to help me make Christmas cookies. I needed a food processor with lots of power to make almond flour. First I blanched the almonds to remove the skin. I coarsely chopped the nuts and then dried them. I placed small amounts of the chopped nuts into the juicer and within seconds I had flour. I also chopped up some scraps of meat to make burger. I used slightly frozen meat. It worked great. I'm so glad I chose this blender. see less

Bought this on during Black Friday for [$$] - SOOO happy I bought it. I am in love with this machine. It blends ice, fruit, nuts, etc no problem! I've seen Vitamix and Blentec - which look AMAZING..... but the ones I was looking at were around [$$]. Insane!! This may take 5 more sec to blend a smoothie, but it is well worth the price! What is 5 sec anyways? You barely notice! I would definitely recommend this to anyone, I have been looking for the right blender for 2 years!! Buying, returning, buying, returning, and the list goes on...... Wonderful product and I am beyond pleased! The only fyi to watch out for is the food processor part. It is large, I think 6 cup? Anyways, if your trying to process/blend a small amount of food, it spreads out because the bowl is so large - therefore not processing it correctly... so if you have a small amount of food i.e. nuts, crackers, fruit that you want to blend, put it in the smoothie/shake part, and whip it up! It has amazing power as well!! see less

We bought this a few weeks ago and have made everything from margaritas to smoothies to cookies in it. This blender does everything it says it does - crushes ice in seconds, effortlessly, with no large pieces. Clean up is easy - all of the attachments are dishwasher safe. It's worth paying the extra money - you do get what you pay for and this will be in our kitchen for a very long time! see less

I had a very bad experience with another manufacturer's blender which was supposedly made for making smoothies, which I had bought at Target. It failed on the very first use and I returned it to Target for a prompt and easy refind. In contrast, the Ninja is phenonominal and works better than I had expected. Whether making a frozen smoothie or whipped protein shake or whatever, this device rocks! Fast, efficient, easy to clean and reassemble, this device surpasses my best expectations. Now I know why the leading consumer reports organization rated it a best buy. Don't waste your money on anything else. see less

I purchased this on the black friday weekend sale for a great price! It performs well and chops effortlessly! Everything comes out quite small, so it's not great for chopping, but the blades are sharp, precise and easy to clean. My biggest complaint is the amount of veggies that get stuck up in the lid, even if you are just dicing garlic. I would buy it again! see less

This blender is amazing- easy to use, very easy to clean as compared to the conventional kitchen blender, and works amazingly. The small cup is great for personal sized smoothies/shakes, chopping up veggies for salsa, etc. The larger one is the big kahuna. It can chop up anything you put in there. The multiple blade technology is genius and makes for a smooth drink with long pulses or even chopped foods with the pulses. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone!! see less
